Ubisoft has been working on Assassin's Creed for over fifteen years now. It has become something of a tradition, coming out every year along with your Maddens and your Call of Duties. But in 2017, they gave the entire series a makeover with Assassin's Creed: Origins, which turned Assassin's Creed into Ubisoft's version of The Witcher.

2018 saw them further refine this formula by releasing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin's Creed Odyssey, a game that brought you to the beautiful shores of A🅠ncient Greece. An RPG emphasizing choice and packed with dozens of side quests🤪, this list is devoted to pointing out some of the best quests in the game.

Updated October 18, 2022 by Daniel Furn: After a surprise crossover with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and a recent appearance on both PlayStation Plus Extra and Game Pass, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is back in the conversation despite releasing all the way back in 2018. As the series looks to head in a new direction with Assassin's Creed: Mirage, here's a last look back at Odyssey's many memorable side quests now that the game has surely seen its last updates and expansions.

14 ♏ A Kind Of Treasure Hunt

Barnabus and Herodotus standing by the sea in A Kind Of Treasure Side Quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Location: Automatically unlocked after🌱 completing Noꦆ Rest For The Misthios

While A Kind Of Treasure Hunt was not the most exciting side quest, it does get bonus points by being part of the crossover DLC with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. The side quest is a literal treasure hunt on the stunning new islꦇand of Korfu, acting as a way to explore this new area in one last fetch quest.

However, there&rsquওo;s a bit more to this side mission as before you find the treasure you’ll have to hunt down five ancient tablets with clues – with each one referencing your past adventures in the game in 🦂this fitting epilogue.

13 ဣ Myth And Minotaurs

The Minotaur boss wielding an axe in Assassin's Creed Odyssey side quest Myths and Minotaurs

Location: Eastern border of Messara Island

The Atlantis side quest🦩s from the DLC are all pretty great, but Myths and Minotaurs takes the cake as the best one. In the series of quests ending with Myths and Minotaurs, our hero discovers a child who’s father traveled in🍷to the depths of a mysterious abyss.

To finish this quest, the Misthios travels into the depths of this abyss and comes face to face with the truth of the island of Messara. Along the way, you'll battle mythical creatures and well-crafted enemies to make for a rewarding player experience. These fights are difficult, so make sure your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hunter build is up-to-date!

12 Prince Of ܫPersiꩲa

Assassins Creed Odyssey Blind King From Prince Of Persia Side Quest

Location: Megara, Megaris

Originally a pre-order bonus, all players now ha🌃ve access to this quest which acts as an intermediary step between the base game and the Legacy of the First Blade expansion pack.

The setup is almost as good as the entire expansion itself, as you'll meet the Blind King, a memorable and mysterious character. And if you tire of the non-stop open combat, you'll get to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:practice your ultimate Assassin build in these quests⛎ that focus more on stealth than open combat.

11 ꦗ The Great Contender

A player armed with a spear leaping towards an Athenian soldier in Assassin's Creed Odyssey side mission The Great Contender

Location: Island of Melos

The Great Contender is the kind of quest 💫only Ubisoft could afford to do properly. On the island of Hydrea, the Misthios is asked if they want to compete in something called the Battle of One Hundred Hands. In most games, this tournament would be something simplistic, or at best you’d face three or four opponents.

Here, the player is placed onto a massive island and asked to survive against dozens of opponents. Though by then they’re far mor🍷e powerful than any average opponent, there’s an undeniable sense of achievement after surviving against so many other people, competing for the same thing. It even winds up tying to the main story, in its own way.

10 A🌼geꦑ Is Just A Number

Assassins Creed Odyssey Age Is Just A Number Kassandra Quest

Location: Phokis

This is one of the strangest questꦜs in this game. In Phokis, the Misthios will run into Auxesia, a woman who’s having issues with her husband. They’re happily married, but as they’re an older couple, Auxesia asks you to help her with the ingredients for an elixir that serves as a… marital aid. The actual actions required for the quest are fairly simple — the player simply has to hunt down a bear and a deer and bring back pieces of their body to create the elixir.

Despite its simplicity, however, this quest has several truly hilarious endings d🌃epending on how adventu🌳rous or curious the player can be.

9 ♕ The Grand Minotaur 𒈔

Assassins Creed Odyssey The Grand Minotaur Beginning With Arsenios

Location: Lato Harbor, Pephka

With the theory of capitalism still several hundred years away, the world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey doesn't give you the chance to spend your money frivolously on useless trinkets.

Thankfully, The Grand Minotaur side quest is a welcome break from the action, as an entire island has essentially turned itself into an ancient Disney theme park with the Minotaur replacing Mickey Mouse as the star. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Short of downloading a mod, this is probably the most fun you'll have in the game.

8 🌳The Show Must Go On

Location: Kingdom of Pelops, Elis

Much like the stage recreations in Taika Waititi’s Thor movies and season six of Game of Thrones, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also has a somewhat meta retelling of its own story as a stage play. However, in Odyssey you’ll actually be acting in🥂 the play yourself, using the dialogue options to come up with your lines as you scramble to remember wh൩at happened thousands of years ago in Ancient Greece – or dozens of hours ago at the start of the game.

🌸It may not be the most exciting of side missions, but it is a hoot to see the game’s accomplished voice actors now having to pretend to act terribly.

7 Righting A Wrong 💦

Location: White Crystal Hills, Lokris

Impersonation missions are always good fun 𓂃in video games, and Sacred Favors is no different. The side quest sees you hunting down a mercenary in Alponos who is disguised as the g🧜ame’s protagonist, prompting quite the chase and a later attack from pirates.

However, Sacred Favors is also a moment of deeper reflection for Alexios/Kassandra, with the imposter acting as un uncomfortable mirror representing the reputation they have built i🐠n Ancient Greece as a Misthios.

6 Sa꧑cred Favors 💞

A close up of the Trojan Horse in the A Sacred Favour side quest in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Location: Limnai Marsh, Lakonia

The Trojan Horse may have been used hundreds of years before Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Peloponnesian War setting, but Ubisoft still found a way to sneಞak in a reference to the famous myth. The mission sees you deliver a feast for a group of Spartans, only to wake up after a night of drinking to find a wooden horse nearby.

Despite noting how it was a trap last time, the Spartans nonetheless prepare 𓂃to offer the wooden horse to Poseidon – only for a horde of angry Athenians to break out and recre🃏ate that legendary event.

5 🅠 ღ Trouble In Paradise

Assassins Creed Odyssey A Night To Remember Quest Giver

Location: Adrestia Message Board

This quest sees the player travels to the Silver Islands, they run into a questline which begins with Trouble in Paradise and ends with A Night to Remember. Here, the player is asked to help liberate some islands from a corrupt leader known as Podarkes the Cruel 168澳洲幸运5开ღ奖网:(tracking down and using a solid heavy weapon will help a great deal).

While there, the Misthios meets up with the Resistance 𒊎force and helps them fight long🐭 enough to topple the reign of Podarkes, though there are plenty of twists and turns. Personal choice comes into play here, as the story can have a bittersweet, happy, or dark ending depending on how you play your cards.
