168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dune: Part Two and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are both out this week, and nothing could be better than stacking those two sci-fi sequels on top of each other and chomping down on 'em like a double cheeseburger.

I like being cozy, but more than that, I appreciate cozy synergy. When I see someone post a picture of a book they're reading, maybe while seated in a comfy armchair, maybe holding whiskey on the rocks or a glass of red wine, maybe with a video game they're playing or a movie they're watching visible on a screen in the background, you can bet I want to go to there. I love finding the right movie to watch when I'm sick at home ('90s legal thrillers or something by Hayao Miyazaki), love switching on the perfect lamp for reading by a window during a thunderstorm, love spending a night at home with a stack of comics I can't wait to page through. Maximum enjoyment sometimes requires a little organization.

Which is why I love when the universe provides that organization for me. Sometimes, it’s two games I’m excited for coming out at the same time, like last year’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Spider-M⛦an 2 double feature. This year, the universe is at it again. Warner Bros. and Square Enix have, in part because of the forces of capitalism, managed to put out a movie I’m excited to see and a game I can’t wait to play on the same day. This week, I preloaded Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but was too tired to play it the night it came out and didn't have time before work. So, instead, I went to see Dune Part Two at the nearest IMAX, came home, and began my journey through Cloud’s adventures across Gaia.

The conjunction of two fun activities is more fun than one fun activity by itself. That's just math. It's the reason it's more fun to go get dinner with friends, catch a movie, then grab drinks and discuss the movie afterwards than it is to just go see the movie. The movie can be good even if you watch it on your own — and I see movies by myself in an empty theater at least once a month, so I've done the lab work here — but it's a better experience if you can build a night around it.

Maybe life, as a whole, is the same way. Maybe we should all just be trying to build our ideal buffet-style days. I do this to a certain extent. I break my writing up with a few minutes of YouTube videos and small household tasks, because sitting down and typing away for an hour at a time is daunting. I take a walk at some ꦰpoint during the day to give myself time to reset and think. And, I begin every morning reading a book and playing a video game, two things that I enjoy doing, and that helps me feel like I got me time before the work day. A little variety helps you have a nice, spicy life. And, as I learned this week while having my bones rattled by IMAX speakers, the spice must flow.
