We’ve seen Hank Pym in the game’s story mode, but we never see him actually take part in the fight against AIM. That’s because of some information we learn later on. His experiments early on have completely destroyed his physiology, and as a result Hank can’t use his own techno﷽logy on himself anymore. This leaves him off the field as a superhero, but does allow him to lea🔜d a resistance force of Inhumans against AIM.
6 🉐 HULK AND THE AVENGERS ꧋
This wouldn’t stand out to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but in the comics the Hulk wasn’t an Avenger for very long. He was a founding member, but soon afterwards wound up leaving. Periodically he would return, but never for a long p𓂃eriod of time. In this universe, it not only appears that the Hulk founded the team with the others, but he’s been one of the longest running Avengers. He ꧑clearly doesn’t have a problem being on the team any more than anyone else.
5 ꦰ TASKMASTER'S ORIGIN
In the comics, Taskmaster was a man named Tony Masters. We see him in the comics as a guy who trains people that join supervillain organizations. He’s also known for 🌼taking on mercenary jobs where he’s worked for both the bad and good guys. In the game, Taskmaster starts out as a member of SHIELD who chooses to w𒈔ork with Hydra when they offer him a contract high enough.
He eventually abandons t🦄hem to w♋ork with AIM, but he also winds up getting cloned multiple time by the organization, which is why the Avengers have to fight different versions of him so frequently.
4 ABOMINA♚TION
Emil Blonsky started out in the comics as a KGB agent who messes with Bruce’s experiment🐟 and winds up being responsible for him becoming the Hulk, while he winds up becoming Abomination himself. This is downplayed in the game, and it’s actually implied that Abomination exists because of AIM’s experiments, gained from the data that Monica brought them after her extensive tests on the Hulk and his powers.
3 ♋ MONICA RAPPACINI ☂
In the comics, Monica originally worked with a number of different left-wing terrorist organizations because she was frustrated with the state of the world. She would later on join AIM and even date George Tarleton before he would become MODOK. She went off-grid after MODOK attacked AIM, and resurfaced again to take control of a variant faction of AIM where she would lead as Squadron Supreme. This is a huge difference from the game, where she initially works with SHIELD and the Avengers before wanting to use her own power to take over AIM. Consistent for her is she’s always had a ruthless drive to be in control, and sees the▨ genius people around her as a means to whatever she wants.
2 M.O.🍷D.O.K. 🗹
In the game, George Tarleton was affected by the Terrigen gas, which is why Monica s🔴pends so much time trying to give him a “cure”. All until he later learns that Monica was actually accelerating his transformation to use his power to further AIM’s agenda. In the comics, Tarleton is indeed used by AIM, but Monica Rappacini has nothing to do with his transformation. Instead, other AIM scientists experiment on him to create a living computer to study the Cosmic Cube they have, only for MODOK to rebel against them and try to take over AIM himself.

In the comics, Maria Hill becomes the leader of SHIELD after the initial events of Civil War, which leads to Nick Fury♏ going off the grid because he doesn’t like what’s happening. Eventually Tony Stark takes over running the organization leaving Maria to be second in command. In the games, Maria Hill is forced to take over SHIELD after the organization is dissolved by the government and Nick Fury is believed to be gone. She’s the main operative working with the Avengers as a liaison.
