One of the easier to locate secret areas in the first chapter of Black Myth: Wukong is the Ancient Guanyin Temple, but it's always worth tracking down, especially if you're still in Chapter 1. When you're exploring the opening areas of the game, you'll find three ominous bells, and you're going to want to ring all of them when you get the chance.
While it might seem like the game is discouraging you at first, by doing this you'll find yourself in the Ancient Guanyin Temple, and with the option to fight Elder Jinchi.
