Description

How To Counter

Mini-Lightning Spears

Kang-Jin Star will shoot numerous lightning spears divided into two parts to initiate the battle with The Dest🌊ined One.

Once the fight starts, wait for her to shoot the spears, and you can dodge towards the left or right to avoid them.

Lightning Swipe and Strike

Kang-Jin Star will jump and raise her hand to summon an electric bolt at The Destined One's location. Once she moves down, she throws a single lightning spear.

While Kang-Jin Star is in mid-air, wait for the electric circle at the ground to close. Instantly make a perfect dodge right, and when she throws a lightning spear, dodge right again.

Three-Hit Shock Combo (Two Variants)

In the first phase, Kang-Jin Star will make a three-hit combo that infli👍cts shock and only works in the short range.

In the second phase, she will increase the hits to four, followed by two electric bolts from the ground.

When she begins this combo, you will see lightning drawn from her hand. Simply dodge backward to avoid being in her combo's radius.

F♒or the second phase, the way to dodge it remains the 🍒same.

Lightning Grabs (Two Variants)

Kang-Jin Star will summon lightning in her hands to grab The Destined One, and she will toss them to the side.

In phase two, the initiation will be the same, but she pierces The Destined One using the lightning spears numer🌌ous times before throwing them away, delivering immense damage.

For a moment, she will charge lightning in her hands. That is your queue to dodge backward to circumvent the grab.

Lightning Orbs

While levitating, Kang-Jin Star will first throw four lightning spears at The Destined One and follow up with five lightning orbs in a one/one/one/two throwing sequence.

Wait for the spears, and dodge either left or right.

For the Lightning Orbs, patiently await their arrival and make a perfect dod💯ge in any direction.

Lightning AOE

In mid-air, Kang-Jin Star will become stationary and make a huge AOE lightning effect, followed by a liಞghtning wave all over the arena.

Watch her movements, and once she starts to release lightning from her body, dodge backward.

For the lightning wave, jump forward.

Lightning Spear Barrage

In the second phase, Kang-Jin Star will levitate and summon a holy grail of Lightning Spears, followed by a huge lightning bolt throw.

She takes three seconds to charge the move, so keep dodging wherever you have more open space.

Dragon Transformation: Lightning Strikes

Just like Kang-Jin Loong, Kang-Jin Star can transform into a dragon and summon lightning strikes from the sky.

Run around the arena while looking for t🅺he lightning ඣstrike drop indicators.

Dragon Transformation: Tail Smash

After turning into a dragon, Kang-Jin Star will roll and use her tail to smash The Destined Once.

Wait for the tail to drop, and dodge left to have a wider space to run.

How To Defeat Kang-Jin Star

Once the fight initiates, run forward and prepare to dodge the incoming Lightning Spears. Before she settles down, Kang-Jin Star will follow up with a Lightning bolt along with a spear, and after successfully evading it, rush and execute a full combo.

Since her poise is extraordinarily low, she will immediately lose her ground, providing you with a window for one or two hits at max. When she recovers, dodge backward and use the Shock-Quelling powder in case shock has been inflicted.

If Kang-Jin Star catches up with your speed, use the Immobilize spell on her to pro💟ffer yourself with the Shock-Quelling powder to subdue the shock stat.

For a moment, Kang-Jin Star will become stationary for a dialogue, and that is your biggest ticket to inflict a drastic attack upon her.

Before ca𓆉sting the Immobilizer spell, use the 'A Pluck of Many' spell, as it req🌳uires heaps of time to activate.

If pressurized enough, Kang-Jin Star will transform into a dragon who looks similar to Kang-Jin Loong. If she summons the lightning strikes, run around the arena and, with patience, wait for her to revert.

Once she returns to the ground, you will have enough time for another combo, and this time, s🔯he may become stunned, falli🐈ng flat to the ground.

After she falls, you can use Wandering Wight's summon to deli⭕ver whopping damage since this animation doesn't provide her with I-frames.

Her enigmatic second phase is the biggest hindrance in this fight. When the brightness suddenly dims, be prepared to dodge multiple Lightning Spears dropping from the sky.

If your dodge tempo breaks and one of the spears hits you, the remaining spears will catch up and do immense damage.

Wait patiently to execute a dodge perfectly so you can avoid every lightning spear that Kang-Jin Star will summon upon you. Panicking would be the last thing to do here, so recollect yourself and wait for the incoming🐎 spears.

To conquer this stern phase, you must combine everything available in your inventory; a beauty behind the madness. Make sure to use your transformations efficiently, and the greatest opportunity to attack will reveal itself once you dodge the grab attacks.

In a matter of minutes, you will be able to beat Kang-Jin Star. Since it🥂 is an arduous fight, the game will bestow the following ꧟worthwhile rewards to the Destined One:

  • 1606 Will
  • One
  • Two
