Black Ops 2020, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Black Ops Cold War, has given us an alternate reality game hidden inside of another game. However, one of the first confirmed messages is proving to be more useful than initially imagined. In fact, it's clear that knowing your history really is part of the experience of Black Ops Cold War.
While digging around in Warzone at the loca🌄tions given to us by 19 minute-long videos of various news stories throughout the 1960s, players have uncovered Easter egg-like documents that are going to be critical in solving its puzzles and unlocking the secrets that wereౠ hiding right under our noses the entire time. While this is all par for the course in alternate reality games, it's the "reality" part of this that's becoming more and more apparent as the days go by.
Each of the clips that we see on the — one of the official sites for the game — contains a real-life event that took place in the early to late 1960s. They include the inauguration of President Kennedy, the establishment of East Germany, the Bay of Pigs incident, the Space Race, and much more. Each one of these events is tied to the CIA in one way or another, even if that tie is a largely popular conspiracy theory. However, there is one thing that we can categorically confirm to be true: the Venona cipher files in Warzone take their name from 🍸the actual counterintelligence files the CIA and kept on KGB communications.
It was the Venona program that led to the capture and conviction of Soviet spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who stole nuclear secrets in addition to plans for the first jet fighter from the United States and gave them to Russia. Of course, nuclear arms played a major role in the Cold War between the United States and Russia, as well as intelligence and counterintelligence operations on both sides. Venona was in operation that lasted for decades and was dedicated to decrypting KGB messages to spies around the world. Now, we will be using documents called Venona in Warzone to decryptꦍ a message that the developers will be giving us in the near future.
The Cold War was perhaps one of the most dangerous eras in human history. The world's two nuclear powers were fighting an ideological war that threatened to turn "hot" at any minute and lead us toward the mutually assured destruction similar to the one we see in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout games. There is a lot of interesting and terrifying history during that period of time, and the developers appear to be using as much of it as they possibly can. If that is the case, knowing the history of the Cold War era is going to be a major advantage to solving some of the puzzles and truly appreciating what the devs are doing with the next Black Ops. Now 𝐆if you'll excuse us, we're going to go rock✨ in a corner for a bit.
