Where To Find The Rapiers
The first thing you’ll need to do, before anything else, is reach the City of the Blessed Name and then obtain the Ivy of Ascension from Profundo Lamento, the small dungeon underneath the city. This will allow you to ascend certain walls, unlocking the way forward.
Return to the Blessed City, and you’ll be able to climb up the wall to the right of the chasm that leads to Profundo Lamento. Climb this wall and start heading to the right until you reach a new area: Grilles and Ruin.
Your destination is even further to the right, so press on, taking every path to the right that you can until you come to a large wooden door. This is the entrance to the Palace of the Embroideries, but it’s shut.

- Descend the nearby ladder and run to the right until you enter the Palace of the Embroideries.
- Climb the platforms in the first room to find a Prie Dieus, avoiding the enemy’s spinning projectile on the middle level.
- From the Prie Dieus, head to the right. Deal with or avoid the enemies in the next rooms, being very wary of the skeletons with large weapons and the falling chandeliers in the long room with the low ceiling.
- When you reach the room with two floating mirrors, jump onto the platform in the middle to fall down to the next screen.
- Walk to the right to find the Sarmiento & Centella.
To get out of this area, you’ll need to use the rapiers’ special ability. When you strike a floating statue holding a mirror that you’ll have seen just previou𝄹s♛ly and likely in many other parts of the map, you will warp forward.
