Sony remembers that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne exists long enough to make legal threats, as it forces a fan game to rebrand. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne Kart has now been delayed so it can shake the Bloodborne branding, although the dev🗹eloper is still determined to get the game released 🌜soon.
Bloodborne Kart creator Lilith Walther doesn't seem particularly surprised by this development, saying she would have been "pleasantly surprised" if she was able to launch the game without any legal trouble. Now, the game will still launch, but it won't be called Bloodborne Kart. It remains to be seen what new title the dev goes for, and how the move will alter the game's Bloodborne-esque visuals.
"WHELP. IT HAPPENED. Sony contacted me," says Walther over on Twitter. "Long story short I need to scrub the ♌branding off of what was previously known as Bloodborne Kart, which we will do. But that requires a short delay."
She adds, "Don't worry, the game is still coming out! It'll just look slightly different." We'll have to see what this means for Bloodborne Kart's iconic aesthetic, which right now, is clearly inspired by the original game.
"Like I've said in multiple interviews, we were all expecting this to happen so we could be pleasantly surprised if it didn't," Walther continues. "It happened, so we're shifting gears (ha) to take care of it. I'll get back to y'all ASAP when we figured out a new release date!!"
Bloodborne launched in 2014, exclusively for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 4. It was published by Sony, who has never shared it 🐻with another platform.
Before this holdup, Bloodborne Kart was just days away from launch. Hopefully, this means that the rebrand won't hold it up too much, particularly since this was expected anyway.
Walther started work on Bloodborne Kart after the huge success of her last game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne PSX. As the name would suggest, this was a demake of Bloodborne, made as if it were a game for the original 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation. This was a huge undertaking, recreating the game from scratch while ensuring it felt like a PSX release. But perhaps the neatest thing about it was that it finally made B🌠loodborne available on PC, as it seems Sony has no interest in re-releasing the hit FromSoft game. At least we know that Sony is aware that Bloodbor🍃ne exists, even if it was just to make a legal threat.
