YouTube Distortion 2 has set a new record for the very new Bloodborne PSX demake, a PS1-style fan game that remakes the first area of the PS4's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne.
Only released 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a few days ago, Bloodborne PSX typic💖ally takes even skilled players to complete. Distortion 2 was able to bring that number down to ju🔥st 14 minutes and 19 seconds thanks to efficient boss fighting and two elevator skips.
Bloodborne PSX is a remarkable achievement. Created by Lilith Walther over the course of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:13 months, this totally free demake reimagines Bloodborne as though it were originally made for the PlayStation one. This includes extremely basic textures and character models as well as 4:3 aspect ratio. There's even a CRT-style filter and a 20-frames cap.
The game doesn't remake every aspect of the PS4 game, instead limiting itself to the first couple hours of Bloodborne's plot. There are only three bosses with the final boss being a new creation based on one of Bloodborne's more unfortunately NPCs.
Distortiꦉon 2 first played through Bloodborne PSX in order to both learn the game and several tricks he could use to bypass much of its content. Those can be seen in the 14-minute speedrun where he uses enemy attacks to glitch through walls. With some luck/skill fighting the Cleric Beast, Father Gascoigne, and Gilbert, the Outsider, Distortion set a record for completing Bloodborne PSX.
At least, for now. Bloodborne PSX is remarkably popular for a fan project with i𝔍n less than four days since re🐠lease. With that many players, more speedrun tactics are sure to be found eventually.
