There is quite a bit the player can learn about this intriguing individual and gai🌸n greater insight into who she is and why she’s in Yarnham. For players interested in this level-headed hunter of hunters, here’s everything you can learn about her.

10 She💟’s An Outsider Like The Player ✤

If the player goe💜s down the road of fighting her and looting her corpse they’ll obtain the Crowfeather set of armor and the Crow Hunter Badge. These items reveal that Eileen is not fromꦐ Yarnham, but is actually an “outsider from the hinterlands”.

No♉ further information is given in the game about where specifically from the hinte𓆉rlands she’s from. This is likely because it’s not relevant information or it’s been so long since she was last home it no longer matters and she doesn’t discuss it.

9 Hunts The🐼 Hunters

The reason Eileen is in Yarnham is that she’s the sole member of the Hunter Of Hunters Covenant. The Hunter of Hunters is a highly exclusive꧙ covenant charged with killing Hunters that have become blood drunk and lose control of themselves.

A strict requirement of the Covenant is that there can only be one Hunter of Hunters at any given time and they must🍃 be an outsider. It’s not clear how Eileen came to be a Hunter of Hunters, but she is in Yarnham to put the corrupt Hunters down, which can include the player if they’re not careful.

8 She Helps Fight Henryk 𒊎

One of her marks is Old Hunter Henryk who has been driven insane by the loss of his hunting partner 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Father Gascoigne. She warns the player against going to the tomb below Oedon Chapen where he can be encountered citing he’s “an old hunter” and that he’s gone mad from hunting beasts and other monsters.

If the player ignores the warning and engages him anyway Eileen will appear shortly after the fight begins and o𒊎ffers an assist. She proves to be a very helpful fighter and can deal a lot of damage, but also risks dying if the player doesn’t make an effort to keep h๊er alive.

7 🏅 She’s Been To The Hunter’s Dream

An interesting fact about Eileen is that she was o🐼nce able to access the Hunter’s Dream. During one of her death dialogues, she’ll request that you speak to the “little doll” for her.

This means she would have had accꩲess to the workshop and more importantly the ability to cheat death. Like the player any time she died she would have reawakened at the Hunter’s Dream and the teleported back into Yarnham as part of the cycle.

6 She’s Transcended🎶 The Hunt

This piece of dialogue upon her death also means that she is no longer able to acce𓄧ss the Hunter’s Dream. This makes her one of the two Hunters to ever do so, the other being Djura.

One of the possible endings for the game involves the player taking Gerhman, the Dreamlands maker/host, up on his offer to transcend the hunt and return to reality. This implies that at some point Eileen was presented with a siꦦmilar offer and elected to go back to reality rather than stay in the Dream.

5 ♚ Death Is Now Permanent F𓆉or Her

Bloodborne Eileen Dying

Of course, the downside to this choice is that Eileen is now susceptible to permanent death.ꦓ Without the power of the Hunter’s Dream to reawaken her, she is now capable of dying to mortal i♏njuries and illnesses.

She’ll make the comment that she no longer dreams and that she will die one day. While she is no longer tethered to the insanity of the Hunter’s Dream she is also unable to draw from its power. This puts her in a very precarious situation as she opposes powerful be꧅ings and even the player who cannot tru🔯ly die.

4 Eileen Is An Older Woman 🍷

Bloodborne Eileen

Compounding the danger for Eil✱een is the fact th𝕴at she’s a self-described older woman. Shortly after facing the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst, she’ll comment on her old age as being part of the reason she lost the fight.

It’s not clear how old she actually is and bein🗹g a hunter with access to the Hunter’s Dream may have muddied the waters of her actual age a bit.📖 But her final words in the game refers to herself as an elder. This would indicate at the very least she is 65-years-old.

3 ♛ Th൲inks The Crow Mask Protects Her

An interesting aspect of Eileen’s attire is her mask. It appears to be a crow’s beak, which certainly fi🍸ts the over🌠all theme of her being a Crow, but it is also a plague doctor’s mask.

In ancient times a plague doctor’s mask was an elongated beak filled with herbs and straw that was designed to filter out the bad smells known as miasma believed to carry the disease. Miasmic theory was disproven towards the end of the Victorian era, which is the era the game is set in, so it’s likely Eiဣleen believed such a mask would protect her from the various plagues present in Yarnham.

2 The Bloo▨dy Crow Of Cainhurst May ﷺHave Killed Her

The last encounter the player ever has with Eileen is outside of the Grand Cathedral where she is badly wounded. She reveals she had just been in a skirmish with The Blood𒐪y Crow Of Cainhurst, her latest mark, and lost the fight. After the player defeats the Bloody Crow Eileen will bestow the Crow Hunter Badge on the player and claim she is resting. When the player returns her body is nowhere to be seen.

It’s possible she recovered and having given up her mantle has le🔴ft Yarnham to seek a more peaceful life. But given her old age, the severity of her wounds, and that she’s still in the heart of a city filled with bloodthirsty individuals and creatures it’s more likely she succumbed to her injuries.

1 🍸 Appears In Her Ow💝n Comics

For players wanting to know more about Eileen The Crow, particularly her backstory, then they should check out a series of comics called Bloodborne: A Song Of Crows. It’s a series of four🔴 comics with Eileen as the protagonist and explores the events before the game.

Some players don’t consider it canon considering it’s a story t🐻hat takes place outside the game and it was written by Ales Kot instead of Hidetaka Miyazaki. That bei🔯ng said it does fill in some blanks the game isn’t interested in filling and can give players a greater appreciation and understanding for the character.
