From Software's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Bloodborne is still one of the most creatively unique and genuinely unsettling games of the past generation. It's a gothic horror that implements elements of Lovecraftꦿ, Catholicism, and even Werewolves while still presenting the player with overall stellar g🦩ameplay.

There are a ton of bosses in Bloodborne. Some are out of this world while others are simply a duel against a fellow Hunter living in a Clocktower– but among all these incredible confrontations are a few that felt like pulling teeth to get through, and they could have easily been fixed with just one or two ꦇsmall changes.

10 Worst: Lauren🧸ce The First Vicar 🦄

Laurence The First Vicar

Laurence the First Vicar is one of the bosses included in The First Hunters DLC and also one of the only examples of FromSoft's boss reuse. In Dark Souls games, it happens a bit more frequently with recolor variants of bosses popping up again like the Smelter Demon or the Stray Demons and even the Fire Demon (wow all demons). But Bloodborne seemed to avoid this problem wi𒀰th each boss feeling completely different, at least in their designs. Then Laurence popped up as Cleric Beast 2.0 (this time on fire) and players suddenly remembered how annoying health sponge bosses could be.

9 🍰 Way To Fix: One Or൲ Two More Original Attacks & Less Health Overall

There's an easy fix for Laurence's confrontation,꧒ and it's simply decreasing his overall health while making one or two of his moves more dangerous. Give the guy a more expanded and fiery moveset as well as one or two gigantic moves that are easy to see coming but will destroy the player's health if they hit. Just like that Laurence, the First Vicar goes from a tediously dangerous slog to a slightly disappointing recycled boss.

8 Worst: Micolash, Host Of The Nightmare 🍌

Micolash

Micolash is unsettling 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in a brand new way to the player, as he isn't some grotesque beast that is almost impossible to comprehend, rather Micolash is just a really crazy "normal" guy. His fight is an incredibly ingenious concept, the♛ idea of chasing an enemy through a maze and making the player feel like they're going insane. But the AI programmin🐼g is a bit clunky, and chasing this cage-head weirdo can be frustrating at first. When players make it into the arena for the actual fight, Micolash has a tendency to spam a spell called "Call Beyond" which can instakill most hunters and is difficult to dodge.

7 Way To Fix: Clean Up AI Issues & Give Micolash 🐎More Spells

Again, all this fight needs is one or two small changes to make it an unforgettable e🅘xperience for✃ new players and a less annoying one for returning ones. First off, the AI for the chase needs a tad bit of fine-tuning so Micolash doesn't just run opposite to the player infinitely and actually corners them into the arena.

It would be neat if he actually set a trap for players he chased into the room and those who find it before him could avoid it. Other than t🍌hat, just stop Micolash from using Call Beyond so much, the guy already has the Augur of Ebrietas spell. Just give him a few more that would increase the complexity of the fight while scaling back the overall damage on Call Beyond.

6 Worst𝄹: Rom The Vacuous Spider

Rom The Vacuous Spider boss fight

This sad, chubby, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and completely mysterious Spider was an impassable wall for a ton of players on Bloodborne's release 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and almost drove some insane. First of all, Rom is a mob-spawning boss, one of the least favorite types of fights in these sorts of games as no one likes fighting a bunch of minio🙈ns instead of the boss itself. Secondly, Rom uses a hit-and-run type movese🐼t where she'll teleport away if the Hunter hits her & summons a bunch of meteors that are tedious to dodge and deadly if they strike home. It's just annoying and the timing to dodge these rocks is super weird as well.

5 Way To Fix: More Spells To Cast & Less Minions To Summon ☂

Rom

The prelude to the Rom fight is honestly one of the best parts of Bloodborne overall– the way things start getting way more horrifying 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:(something playerꦆs should quickly adapt to) as the hunter jou♔rneys through Byrgenwerth. Then there's the mystique of Willem pointing to the reflection in the Moonside Lake. And, finally, the scary long fall after the player jumps in. But the actual fight itself doesn't match the mystique. We get that this Great One is a bit mindless, but that doesn't mean delegating her battle to fighting mobs is justified! The fix here is to simply give Rom more stationary spells to cast and to reduce the number of spiders while ma𒊎king them actively aggressive.

4 Worst: The Witches Of Hemwick ⛄ 💙

Witches Of Hemwick

With the idea of a mob-spawning boss at hand, there's another one that players aren't quite fond of: the Witches of Hemwick. Quite simply, this boss is way too easy! The whole fight revolves around searching for two invisible Witches in the room that spawn creatures called "Mad Ones" that hunt the player down. Pr꧒oblem is, these Mad Ones are easy to avoid meaning most players just ignore them entirely and hunt the witches down in less than two minutes flat. Plus, if the player makes sure they have 0 insight in their second attempt, Mad Ones won't even spawn! It just feels underdeveloped, easily exploitable, and overall forgettable in a game that's astoundingly memorable otherwise.

3 Way To Fix: Witches Use More Than🌌 One Spell & A Bugfix Or Two

So how does From Software fix this boring fight? As one would expect, it just requires a few simple changes. Right off the bat, give the Witches more spells to cast. They're witches, after all, they should know more than just a summoning ritual. Then make the second witch💟's health bar visible right away, or at the very least make it easily identifiable that the player is doing damage when hitting them.

Finall🤡y, make the summons more aggressive and memorable. Maybe the could've made it so the witches would summon the enemy type the player died to the mo💦st so far? Wouldn't that be just the right type of unsettling?

2 Worst: Darkbeast Pa🎶arl 🅠

darkbeast paarl

Lastly, there's Darkbeast Paarl. Sure, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:there are all🎶 the Chalice Dungeon bosses that can be annoying to fight like the Giants or the Bloodletting Beast, but many players never make it far enough into the Chalice Dungeons. Darkbeast Paarl is honestly a very memorable fight. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It has a fantastically creepy design, there's a gimmick to it that's ea🌠sy to understand but punishing to those who aren't careful, and it has tricks & tactics players can exploit. But the problem here is that FromSoft made the best spot to attack it the area underneath its belly and the camera doesn't really work with the player.

1 Way To Fix: Simply Fix𒉰 The Camera Issues

Out of all the bosses on this list, this one probably has the smallest and easiest fix that would make the biggest difference. Just fix the way the camera works while standing underneath Darkbeast Paarl or don't allow players to go under there! If From Software did intend for Hunters to attack from underneath, why are the hitboxes for the legs and stomach so precise? Instead of feeling intentionally difficult, this fight feels like the game is unfairly working against the player by taking the camera itself away from them. And that's it really. Fix the camera and this fight becomes a lot less frustrating and more enjoyable. It's not even close to the most memorable encounter in the game, but just imagine how they'd ramp up this monster's horrifying💞 look in🅘 a sequel.
