Two months after it became abundantly clear that Blue Box wasn't some kind of front for a new Hideo Kojima game, some in the gaming community still haven't learned to behave themselves. Now, the studio has had to release a statement pleading with gamers to stop sending death threats to them, saying that they will start working with law enforcement if the abuse persists.

In a statement titled, "A message from𝓀 us. Human beings", the team says that the death threats have been increasing in recen🐻t days, with some even being made physically rather than just online. The developer says it will start supplying the police with IP addresses, logs, and camera footage to combat the abuse.

"We have been dealing with death threats the past few months and the last few days we have been dealing with it again. Especially physically", reads a message from the studio. "This not only affects us as a team, but everyone within our environments. Other businesses, families and 🥃everyone surrounding us. We want to work in a 🔯safe environment".

The statement also alludes to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:situation with Abandoned, the mysterious horror ꧟game at the centre of all of this.

"We are fully aware of the negative situation that we have created and we truly understand your frustration. But what we don't understand are the death threats. We understand and appreciate your interest for Abandoned, we are working hard on Abandoned. We will start a regular blog on our website that you can follow and we will post any news on Abandoned on our Twitter. But all we ask until then, is just to give us space and to let us work on Abandoned. Please".

This all started back in April of this year, when indie developer Blue Box teased a PS5 exclusive horror game, codenamed Abandoned. Speculation on whether or not this is actually a Hideo Kojima production in disguise kicked off when the team said the game's real name started with an S, and ended with an L - leading many to believe it was actually Silent Hill. Blue Box quickly pꦐut out a statement saying it had no affiliations with Konami or Kojima, but pandora's box was already open, and everything the company did from then on was cited as evidence that it was actually a front for Kojima.

Therefore, when the Abandoned Realtime Experience ꦛApp launched, and it became very clear this was an indie horror rather than a Silent Hill game, the backlash was severe. Today's news proves that hasn't gone away with time either.

Abandone💎d is set to launch inไ 2022, and will be a PS5 exclusive.
