The Malaysian minister of digital Gobind Singh Deo posted a brief 46-second video on yesterday in which he toured the PlayStation Malaysia studio. A few noticed concept art on one of the monitors for what looks to be Bluepoint's upcoming new project.

For context, ransomware group Rhysida stole 1.6 terab꧋ytes of data from Insomniac Games last year and leaked it online. Those digging through the data found concept art for Bluepoint's new IP, showing two figures looking out at a fantasy desert setting.

In the concept art on the monitors at PlayStation Malaysia, we see a very similar aesthetic to the leaked image which you can see in higher resolution below, so it's safe to assume that this is our first official look at Bluepoint's current project.

We Don't Know Much About Bluepoint's New Game

Head of technology Peter Dalton was asked directly on Twitter for an update just last month, and he replied, "Nothing has changed since our statement that w꧅e are working on an original title. Everything takes time. We are committed to sharpening our skills!"

With the leaked concept art and what appears to be new, official concept art, we at least have a taste of what to expect. As for why it would appear on a computer at PlayStation Malaysia, the studio primarily supports other teams. So, it's likely helping the now Sony-owned Bluepoint with its original IP.
