Having so many candidates to choose from is compleꦚtely overwhelming, so you’re going to ha🌊ve to figure out which ones are going to be worth the effort (and points), and which ones you should probably let chill in their squad. Hopefully, you’ll have a better idea of which ones you want to recruit by reading below.

18 🌸 Flesh Prince 👍

Flesh Prince dancing in the dance circle in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

The name Flesh Prince is an homage to the best prince to exist: The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, so if you’re getting excited to meet him despite all the Frankenstein-like people he put to dance a✃round his territory, he’s got to be cool, right? Well, if you find dismemberment and biomechanical madmen cool, then sure.

However, once you meet him it’s a little bit of a letdown, as he’s just…a guy with glasses and freckles, with nothing about him telling you that he is the creator of the franken-army outside his lair. His rep🐟utation of being knowledgeable tracks though, as he provides you with valuable information, but that’s it.

17 Frank

Frank gang member getting ready to bust a move in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Well, the people (puppets?) he designed have to be better right? Eh, debatable. Their de✨sign looks cool, with their skin tones representing a fleshy checkerboard, and the Franks seem to share something similar to a hive mind, which could be considered cool.

Outside of that, th♛ere isn’t much they offer, as it’s not like each character comes with new moves or anything, and Frank (much like his creator) is just another guy at the end of the day. A guy with really cool sci-fi origins, sure, but as normal as New Amsterdam can get.

16 Mesh

Mesh popping a finishing pose in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

In the face of all these writers who perform wil🐈d stun♛ts and tag graffiti in impossible places, Mesh is fairly normal. He’s excellen🌜t at skating around on his inline skates, but once he places his feet on a skateboard, he immediately launches it into the canal and asks you to retrieve it.

At least you get a new skateboard out of it, right? Before rescuing his skateboard, he’s going to challenge you to a score battle, which will be an easy wash for you by now. The o🥃nly thing that drags down getting him is needing to have the minimum of 180 Repꦓ to open the controls to the waterline.

15 DOT EXE

DOT EXE performing an excellent prank in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

One look at the DOT EXE𓃲 crew, and you are transported to a time when everyone was break dancing and wearing matching tracksuits. They have some of the coolest (if understated) designs of the game, with cool-looking mech heads and color-coded clothes, with some even suggesting that their outfits are spiritually channeling the iconic Bruce Lee look from the movie Game of Death.

The member in the black suit is looking for a new crew after you, being the fledgling all-city champ that you are, have taken them down with ease. J🔯ust prove to him that you are a leader worth following, and that will seal the deal.

14 Eclipse

Eclipse doing an upside down pose in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

When the Eclipse gang seeks🔯 to expand their turf, they consult the stars to see if the time is right since astrology is their bread and butter, and they never make a move unless the stars say so. They will make fun of you though, and they don’t need the stars for that.

The Eclipse member in question has already seen the future and🐈 knows that she’s going to join a new crew, all she needs is the right one to come and ask her to. And you 💧are just the right guy to challenge her.

13 Futurism

Futurism doing a break dancing finisher in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Early on, the Futurism crew goes out of its way to let you know who’s the boss of New Amsterdam, and it isn’t the police. DJ Cyber and his team of women terrorized all other writers in the 🌠city and thereby disregarded the unwritten rules between street writers.

They do murder, after all, or at least that’s what it looks like from the outside. In the post-game, there is no more bad blood between you a꧋nd the members of Futurism, and one of them is even willing to join you, provided you match her six million point score first.

12 💧🌠 Devil Theory

Devil Theory showing some swagger in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Devil Theory is both the crew and the person, as he is rarely seen without them. Initially set up as an antagonistic g🔜roup, they officially see you as an enemy once it comes out that yo🥃u’re siding with a former villain, as no one but you knows the truth so far.

The first time you face off against them, you’ve just got to beat their score to win, but if you want to add one of these devilishly handsome fellows to your crew, you’re going to have to pony up over f𓂃ive million points before they’ll agree.

11 Oldhead

Oldhead showing the young writers how to dance in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Depending on how you play your games, the Oldhead🅘 might be the easiest or hardest character to recruit, because if you simply enjoy the story and are done with the game, then you’re going to have a bad time. However, if you are a completionist, then you’ll have an easy time if you haven’t done it naturally already.

What is it you have to do? Tag everything, that’s it. Just tag everಌything in the game that you’re able to tag, and you’ve got him, just don’t expect to finally get them until the main story is saꦦid and done.

10 Rave

Rave on one knee doing a cool pose in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

When you run into Rave, she'll be wearing a cute outfit and an even cuter halo, and you’ll find her vibing by either dancing by herself, or grinding the snake rails down in the underground bazaar. However, just because she’s chill most of the time doesn’t mean getting her is going to be easy.

First, she tests your courage by having you tag a train in broad daylight, which is nothing new for the average writer. However, after this several challenges will occur, culminating in an epic race𝔉 where the winner will tag the finish line with their graffiti. Four challenges stand in your way, so you’ll need to come prepared.

9 Coil

Coil spinning on one hand in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

Coil is fast since that’s his reputation: becoming nothing more than a blur on the streets of New Amsterdam. He loves nothing more than to race fellow writers who happen to challenge him, and acquiring him is a hell of a task because at first, it seems ♋all you have to do is copy his dance.

However, this is where he pulls the wool over your eyes and challenges yꦺou to race him, and he will completely dust you in the first attempt. This race is so hard to win it almost makes you question if getting him to join your crew is worth it at the end of the day, doubly so when you consider the myriad of other members you can recruit.
