Updated August 22, 2021 by Joseph Metz Jr.: Acquirng loot has been the name of the game for Borderlands since the beginning and that tradition continues on with Borderlands 3. The game offers a number of respawnable bosses to take on to get more loot and one of those is Anathema The Relentless. As his title suggests, Anathema truly is relentless and is one of the toughest bosses to take down in Borderlands 3. But the reward is usually well worth the hassle and Anathema is a good boss to farm. It can be a tough endeavor to undertake but farming Anathema The Relentless can be a great way to acquire better items.
Level Requirements And Where To Find Anathema
Before you try to start the quest, you first have to be at least level 50 before attempting the quest. While you may not have to be this level to start the quest, it is best you are since anything less will give you a bad time so 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:be sure to farm exp if you haven't reached that level yet. It is important to note that should the vault hunter die at any point before reaching a checkpoint, they will have to start over from🐼 the last checkpoint an🦹d all enemies will respawn.
As for where Anathema is located, they can be found on Minos Prime during the Takedown at The Guardian Breach quest. The quest is given by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Patricia Tannis onc🎉e you arrive there and you will have a bit to do before reaching Anathema.
Pull one of the two switches in the beginning hallway to initiate the takedown and enter the first room. In it are animals that have to be killed along with two crystals that need charging. Standing near the crystals when activated will kill you when fully charged due to an explosion.
The second room has a large chasm that can be traversed by using air jets and by taking advantage of the lack of gravity to use wreckage as platforms. Once that is done you will have several guardians to deal with before charging and activating three crystals. The guardians will mess with the charging process should they stand on a charge plate so make those one a priority.
Once the crystals are activated, all guardians will die and a set oꦗf doors will open the way to another room with crystals. Activate them to open the temple doors to the next area.
Next, keep pushiong forawrd until you reach a large room with one opening covered with enemies. Take them out to proceed and make your way across a series a platforms that go back and forth between visible and invisible so watch your step. Then make your way to a slide where a small platform will be along the way that will have health and ammo vendors fo𝕴r you. Once done, con𓃲tinue along the slide until you arrive at the lair of Anathema The Relentless.
The Fight With Anathema The Relentless
Once the battle starts, you will note how Anathema has three bars of health with two armored parts and one shield. This is important since the first two health bars are weak to corrosive damage while the last one is weak to shock damage so make sure you have some weapons and/or abilities on hand that specialize in those types of damage. This also means that he has three phases in his fight though his attacks do not change all that much. Anathema will gradually ge🍸t bigger in size as the fight drags on.
Anathema's main source of attacking is by attacking you head-on with him frequently charging at you with a fierce barrage of melee swipes. He can also teleport so don't use long-range combat unless you can knock him down immediately.
His most dangerous move though is how he can summon flaming pillars thꦛat come up from the ground, marked by how he raises his hand before doing so. Getting hit by th🤡ese can knock you off the stage and kill you.
To avoid this, head to one of the small platforms which can be reached by using any of the four air jets. Once the pillars are gone, either head back down or hꦰead to another by usin꧂g one of three air jets on those platforms.
Anathema The Relentless Fight Stage Two
Once a quarter of a health bar is drained, Anathema will start charging a large radiation sphere and is immune to damage during this. Being inside this will gradually give you radiation damage and cripple you once it explodes. Be sure to stay outside of the s⛎phere and a൲s far away from Anathema as possible.
The frequency of this attack increases as his health decreases, causing a change in phase. He will drop two of these during the second phase and four during the final phase. The best chance of avoiding this will be to be make sure you are near one of the jets and get on one to avoid this. Keep on doing this to finally take down Borderlands 3's Anathema The Relentless.
