168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 3 released its second DLC for the at the end of March called Guns, Love, and Tentacles. This DLC adds even more lore to the series and brings back even more of the old cast. And that's saying something, considering just how much plot and lore BL3 finally answers from the first two games.
There's a lot o𓆏f dialog in the sequel, not all of it masterfully written, but much of it is important. So, we're going to go into a lot of the hidden plot lines and details that many players tend to have missed in their first time through.
10 Krieg And Maya's Relationshi☂p
First and foremost is the whole Krieg and Maya plotline that was obvious in Borderlands 2. This, out of all the pairings in the series, has to be one of the fan favorites. Krieg is such a lunatic but Maya seems to have a soft spot for him knowing that it isn't by choice. You won't be able to find these Echo Logs until a good portion of the way through the game, but they're all found within Konrad's Hold. In them, we 🧸can hear that Krieg is slowly but sur🍷ely regaining control of his body and that he does harbor feelings for Maya. And, as the final Echo Log, we get to hear their heartfelt goodbye as she promises him that she'll be back, which we now know is a promise unintentionally broken.
9 Angel's Trag൲ic Childhood ඣ
Thꦚis next one is hidden in Konrad's Hold as well and is actually an entire side mission that goes into how awful Angel's childhood was. Spoiler alert, Jack isn't the best father. Being a Siren at a young age wasn't easy for Angel, especially with a father like Jack. And of course, awful things happen to good people and Angel's mother is unfortunately killed accidentally due to Angel's powers. This whole sidequest has barely any enemies and is mainly focused around diving deep into the complex relationship between Jack and his daughter and is absolutely a sidequest we recommend everyone experience for themselves.
8 🐼Mordecai And Amazing Grace
A lot of Borderlands humor can be cringe-y. The fans know it, the developers know it, and we sure know 🌼it. But, usually🍌, these games are able to ride the line between morbid or dark humor pretty well. That is, until the Amazing Grace sidequest.
Maybe it was just us, but something about beating the records of a deceased girl right in front of her father was just so heartbreaking. In any case, this side quest dives a bit into M♕ordecai's life and has a lot of heart to it, with a free to boot.
7 Gaige's Prophesized Retur🗹n And Her Ties To Holloway 🌞
The backstory of Gaige, one of the DLC characters for Borderlands 2, is one of the more well-written ones in our opinion. A lot of the Vault Hunters feel larger than life and while Gaige certainly does have that aspect to her as well, the tale of rivalry and high school drama in her backstory is much more relatable. This is all uncovered through a variety of Echo Logs in which we find that a rich girl who stole her designs for Deathtrap was accidentally murdered by Gaige's design. The only new news in BL3 that lets fans know that Gaige might be reappearing (which she does) is the interview with Marcy's father in which he explains that🐻 most of the Deathtrap-like Robots you've been facing are 🥃horrible knockoffs and that he's still looking for Marcy's killer.
6 Vaughn's Evergrowing Bandit Resume♍
Vaughn is one of the most normal characters turned in Borderlands lore that quickly turned into one of the biggest freaks. Originally, he was a simple low ranking Hyperion Accountant with decent abs. But, throughout his adventures with Rhys and the gang in the Tales of The Borderlands, Vaughn slowly adjusted to the Pandoran lifestyle. So much so in fact, that he makes a return in the BL2 DLC Fight for Sanctuary as a Bandit Leader. Sadly, those same bandits are the ones who have betrayed him at the beginning of Borderlands 3. Vaughn is a great character who is nothing like how he originally was, and since he s🐎tarted in a Telltale game, not many people were aware 🧸of his origins.
5 𝓡 The Redemption of Atlas Thanks To Tales From The Borderlands
Borderlands 1 and 2 followed the theme of making one of the four big gun manufacturers of this setting the villain for their respective games. Borderlands 1 was all about fighting the Atlas Corporation and Borderlands 2 was, of course, all about Handsome Jack who was the leader of Hyperion. So, fans of the first game must have been taken aback by Atlas' sudden reappearance and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:how much the company has changed.
This is all due to Rhys Strongfork from Tales From The Borderlands. Now, the soldiers who were once glorified pillagers are now workꦬing to protect the people and build a real sustainable company.
4 ꦐ There's Actually A Decent Claptrap Mission
Claptrap might be one of the most annoying characters of all time. Some people love him, those people are wrong. Claptrap is one of the worst, most intentionally irritating, and poorly written characters in all of gaming. Yet, the Clapslist missions might be some of the best work Gearbox has ever done towards making Claptrap likable. In particular, the last mission which is called "Baby Dancer" is genuinely heartwarming in a way we didn't e♏xpect from our one-wheeled nemesis.
3 The Pre-Sequel Past With Mad Moxxi And Timothy ꦡ
Similar to Claptrap's forced likability, Mad Moxxi is equally as pushed towards being an "irresistibly attractive" woman in the Borderlands lore. Each game, all of the Vault Hunters basically d♔rool when meeting her for the first time and it's a bit over the top. And, as you find out more of Moxxi's mysterious past over the three games, you find out just how many men she's dated.
Timothy, one of Handsome Jack's body doubles who was also the Doppelganger Class in the Pre-Sequel, is one of those many men pining after her. And, surprisingly, there's a bit of give-and-take between the two of them throughout the Moxxi's Heist DLC. We won't spoil it all, but there are ting🍎es of heart in an otherwise shallow DLC storﷺy.
2 🐠 R𓆉hys Still On The Hunt For Fiona And Sasha
The number hints and homages to other games in the franchise spread throughout Borderlands 3 is pretty large. There are a lot of callbacks to BL2 of course, just as many to the first game, and even a few to the Telltale spin-off Tales From The Borderlands. Rhys and Vaughn, of course, are obvious examples, but that's not all! Our personal favorite is the little picture of Sasha that Rhys has on his desk in the CEO office at Atlas. That and a conversation about the topic with Zer0 about how he still can't find them shows that the heartfelt CEO is still actively l🎐ooking for his lover Sasha and her sister Fiona.
1 The Destroyer💦 From Borderlands 1 Is More Dangerous Than Everyone Thought
The first Vault in all of Borderlands was actually sort of disappointing. We know that in BL3, players get to explore more Vaults than ever before, but it wasn't always that way. In the original release of the first game, before any patches, players would grind through the entire story and finally open the Pandoran Vault only to fight a tentacle monster, defeat it, and receive no rewards and explore zero Vaults. This was changed later on, but for the most part, fans thought that the monster they fought was all of "The Destroyer". Well, BL3 says this is wrong, and in fact, all of Pandora serves as a prison for the D♐estroyer, and the Vault door is ꦜthe gate for letting it out.
