- There's a relatively well-protected nook beyond some supply crates in a corner of the room, which lies leftward from the area's entrance. Laying low in this area will protect you from many of its attacks.
- Hiding is a good idea in short bursts, though don't get too comfortable — the AoE will often get you in trouble and trap you.
- Be sure to mind that shield, as just two or three good hits from this boss can wipe away most of your shield and health.
