With the new Mayhem rework fresh in our minds, we figured people might be getting back into 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Borderlands 3 a bit. Gearbox always has ups and downs as a company. We got a complex rework of the Mayhem system that fans have been asking for sꩵince release, but then the news about the employee bonuses takes us right back down.
In any case, 🅰for anyone hopping back into this game after a long time (or even new players), the cast this time around is pretty interesting. And, because this sequel includes references to all the spin-offs, comics, and side games, there's a ton of hidden lore.
10 Zane Flynt, Family Member♔ To Baron Flynt & Captain Flynt
We like to start things off with the most obvious of the facts, and boy is this obvious if you followed BL3's development at all. Zane Flynt is one of the four playable Vault Hunters, if Flynt sounds familiar to you, there's a reason why. It was discove꧙red quickly after the reveal of the♕ Operator-class VH that this Irish rapscallion was related to both Baron and Captain Flynt who were bosses in the second game. More than that, Zane himself confirms in Echo Logs in the game that Baron and Captain were actually their first names and not simply titles.
9 Zane And Zer0 Hung Out At The💝 Same Bars ☂
As the most comedic of the four Vault Hunters, a lot of what Zane says has to be taken with a grain of salt. Some of it could be true, but most of it isn't. Luckily, this next fact is directly confirmed by the character in question, so we're mostly sure it's true. Basically, Zer0, the assassin from BL2, knew Zane at first glance because according to Flynt they used to "frequent the same assassin bars." We always love the little dialogue di🐬fference between the NPCs and characters depending on who you play, and this one really felt like Zane hadꦿ more of a connection to the emoji-toting assassin than the rest of the crew.
8 🦩 Zane Has A Cybernetic Eye That He Covers With A...Cybernetic Eyepatch?
Zane seems to be the 𒈔most standard "human" character of the bunch considering Amara is a Siren, Fl4K is a robot, and Moze is a soldier who spends most of her screentime in a mech. But, because he looks mostly normal, the cybernetic eyepatch he wears over his left eye sticks out more than it normally would.
Thanks to the large number of cosmetic heads eac🅺h character has available, we're able to confirm that h💞e absolutely has a cybernetic eye underneath that patch, and it probably contributes to his Drone control and accuracy. Weirdly enough, it's never stated how he lost that eye, but we're sure it was from running his mouth.
7 🌟 Moze Got Iron Bear From Surviving A Suicide Mission
A lot of the backstory lore for the playable characters are found in the Echo Logs spread throughout the Sanctuary 3 ship. Frankly, we're not sure how players would miss them, but some people just aren't into gathering Audio Logs. For Moze, her log reveals just how rough she had it as a Vladof Corps soldier before she became a Vault Hunter. Basically, in order to end her enlistment while letting her keep Iron Bear, her S.O k൩ept giving her harder and harder missions that would put her peers at risk if she didn't go. Finally, after sending her on what he thought was a suicide mission, Moze seemingly died. Or did she? She didn't... obviously.
6 FL4K Is A Sentient, Murderous, And Frankly Charming Non-Binary Lifeform 🔯
Again, this is likely another fact anyone who followed the development of the game up to release knows, but the Beastmaster FL4K uses they/them pronouns. Robots are typically characters that fall into the non-binary category, but a lot of the other machinations in Borderlands tend to assign themselves a gender.
For example, Claptrap usually uses he/him pronouns. Both the dev team and the voice actor SungWong Cho or ProZD confirmed this about FL4K well before the game's release. Essentially, it was just a smart decision on all fronts. People would expect the Borderlands franchise to be a bit politica♈lly incorrect based on its type of humor, and sometimes it is, but not always.
5 We've Got Six Out Of Seven Sirens Named And Accounted For 💖
Remember, up until now, we really knew very little bout the Sirens in the Borderlands franchise. In Borderlands 2 Lilith would just dope up on Eridium to utilize her powers more, but we didn't quite know why. We always got hints that they had something to do with the Guardians who were also created by the Eridians. In Borderlands 3, a lot of the are part of the mainline story (Amara, Eva, Tannis), but the fact most people missed is that the Echo Logs for168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the Eridian plaques found on each planet reveals that there are always seven Sirens in the universe at any one time, with one that's more🌳 powerful than the rest. It's also canon that the Siren seen in the comic series, Asha, is part of their group, so 6/7 of the Sirens haveꦓ now been found.
4 Why Does Lilith Lose Her Tattoo🌊s But Maya Gets Snapped Away?
This next fact may sound just like a simple complaint about the writing at first, and in a way it is, but it also does reveal important details for both the Calypso Twins and our Siren friends. Basically, Lilith gets all her powers sapped at the beginning of the game. Tyreen suctioned out everything that made her a Siren and left her alive. Yet, when Troy siphoned from Maya, he took her powers just like Tyreen did, but he literally disintegrated her. From this, it's clear that Troy's Siphon power is more destructive, distorted, and chaotic while Tyreen's is a bit more controlled. A small fact, but a ♎neat difference between the twins regardless.
3 Troy Is A Mal✱e "Siren" But In A Very Distort𓂃ed Way
On that same topic, the most commonly known fact about Sirens in Borderlands is that they're an all-female super-powered group. Why is that? Wജe still aren't sure. But when Troy pops up in the story as a supposed Siren, fans had a lot of questions. Then, as so꧋on as the cinematic came out of Troy using his Siphon powers, fans took a closer look and saw how malformed his Siren tattoos were.
They also saw that he was missing an arm and put two and two together. Troy was originally conjoined with Tyreen, and so some of h⛄er power bled over to him. This gives him some of the traits of a Siren, albeit mutated. So much so that without siphoning some of Tyreen's life force everyone once and a while, Tro🧸y would likely die.
2 Amara 𝕴Was So Bored She Became Batman
Back to Amara. The Tiger of Parvati is an interesting character, with arguably more important to the overall narrative of Borderlands than any of the other BL3 Vault Hunters. She's 💮a Siren, and most of the plot of this third game is about finding all the Sirens. Amara's Phaseshift ability is insanely strong and versatile, so much so that she left her home planet out of pure boredom. She was simply stronger than anyone else on her homeworld and played the part of a vigilante most of the time simply to look for fights that were in any way entertaining.
1 💃 Moze Is Short For...
Lastly, we found this final piece of trivia a bit odd. It's about Moze's full name, but the odd part is how much of a throwaway line it is. Moze's full name is Moserah Hayussinian Yan-Lun al-Amir Andreyevna, a tidbit of info she reveals to BALEX when he tells us where his name comes from. She simply says that this is her name and doesn't at all go into where she was named or why she has so many of them. In a way revealing this to us actually caused us to know less about Moze than we did before, and🎃 opened the door for so many questions going forward.
