But, somewhere along the way, the devs added in an alternate fire mode for the gun that allows players to expel some random Legendary weapons for 250 Eridium. Before th๊is inclusion,  players would actually have to stop progressing their story so that they could ask Typhon to use the gun, as he actually had a chance to fire out Legendaries when he used it.

There are a lot of gameplay-based options in BL3 that players just grazed over or didn’t understand in their entirety, one of them is the "Mantle With Forward" option. By default, players have to either hold the jump button near climbable surfaces or press jump again right as they reach the ledge (though most just spam the button). Thankfully, there’s actually a setting that j💝ust lets players climb just by moving forward near a climbable surface. Think of it like the auto-ascending blocks option in Minecraft. It’s not a huge change or even a moderate it, but it is an option that will save a bit of aggravation over the course of Borderlands 3’s many little jump puzzles.

The Lost & Found machine actually persists between two different charactဣers, which is nice. People may be asking "Why not just throw guns into the Bank and transfer them that way"? Well, that method still absolutely works, but this way is a tad bit quicker. And, using these two methods in combinations can transfer more than 50 guns in one trip, which is also a smidge of time saved. Another small tip, but still quite useful.

2 🍌 Climb Ladders Faster

Players won’t have to climb ladders a ton in BL3, but they'll do it enough that it’s worth mentioning that there's an easier way to climb them. With any other game, pressing the Jump button while on a ladder would just make the protag hop off, but in BL3 it actually 🅺makes them hop-up. Is there any reason why Gearbox decided on jump being the input that caused this and not the sprint input? Probably not, but it’s a nice thing to know about anyway.

Lastly, splash damage was a pretty confus💟ing mechanic when BL3 first launched. Only some of the weapons that had splash damage actually specified that they did in their description, and players had to work together & compile a list of all the Legendary Guns that had splash damage on them. Then again, why is splash damage even important? Well, because characters like Amara can center entire builds around it, of course. Anyway, there’s a relatively easy way to see if a weapon has splash damage, and that’s to fire near the feet of an ene🌠my and see what happens. If players shoot the ground near an enemy, and it still does damage to them, that gun has splash damage, simple as that.
