Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be a high fantasy video game inspired by the Borderlands 2 DLC: Assault on Dragon Keep. The player will control a character know𝓀n as "the Fatemaker."
Tiny Tina will lead players through a topsy-turvy world that will be fully separate from Borderlands; it exists in an entirely different setting and, though there will be callbacks to the original series, gamers who haven't played Borderlands wil💞l have no trouble enjoying Tiny Tina'𓆏s Wonderlands.
From the few🔜 screenshots av൩ailable now, we know that players will be able to traverse medieval-style keeps, ancient ruins, underground caves, and snowy mountains.
The Antagonist And Other Opponents
The primary antagonist of the game is a character entitled "the Dragon Lord." He wants to remove all heroism from the💎 world, but keeps being defeated by Queen Butt Stallion and her heroes. ꦉHe won't give up, though, so you'll have to take him down yet again!
The officially announced opponents include...

...and even more are scheduled to be revealed!
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Gameplay
Looter-Shooter
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is going to be a looter-shooter, just like the Borderlands franchise. That means that it'll be a first or third-person shooter where the progression revolves around loot from drops, rewards, quests, and more. However, it was confirmed by the creative director of the game that it will be story-driven. Borderlands is known for melding this looter-shooter gameplay with elements of RPG gameplay.
Confirmed Game Mechanics
Several🃏 features have been announced in interviews with Ashley Burch (the voice of Tiny Tinౠa), Matt Cox (Creative Director), and others behind the game.
- Attack With Spells, Guns, And Melee Weapons
- Customizing Your Character's Appearance And Voice
- Up To 4 Player Co-Op (unclear whether split-screen will be available)
- Multiple Classes
- Multi-Class System
- Amulets To Find And Wear
- Players Won't Craft Or Customize Weapons
- No Grenades (spells to take their place)
- Repeatable End-Game Content
From the gameplay trailer, we can tell that players will be able to use many of the conventional fantasy weapons alongside the guns, including swords, bows, and unique spells. It also looks like some parts of the game will occur outside the fantasy land at Tina's game table. This willඣ probably be limited to cutscenes, and all gameplay will occur in the Wonಌderlands.
Classes
Thus far, six classes have been announced for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands so far.
The Brr-Zerker appears to be a barbarian-style fighter with ice-themed abilities. One of these ice powers i🐲s Dreadwind, a move that causes you to swing your weapon around and damage anything foolish enough to get close to you.
Meanwhile, the Stabbomancer brings a stealthier approach to combat. The narrator describes it as "less magic and more a way of thinking. Specifically: how do I stab that guy?" The two announced abilitie✅s - From The Shadows and Ghost Blade - focus on attacking at a distance or while invisible♒.
If you play as a Clawbringer, you'll be a hard-hitter with a Wyvern for a pet! Like the Brr-Zerker, the Clawbringer uses elemental abilities to aid them𝓡 in combat: fire and lightning. They wield huge hammers to channel their abilities.
As a Spellshot, you will focus heavily on magic and how it can improve your guns. This allows Spellshots to deal plenty of damage! Plus, one of their abilities that we know about is Polymorph (u♔sed to turn enemies into 💮harmless animals).
Graveborns play into a Reaper aesthetic, focusing on Death and dark magic. They even get a creature called a "Demi-Lich" to help them out in combat! Taking away health allo🎐ws them to boost their attacks, even if that health has to be their own.
If you play as a Spore Warden, you'll focus on nature-themed abilities - like summoning tornados - to take out your enemies! However, where the Spore Warden (and its Mushroom Companion) really shine is when the🐻y're buffing their allies.
