Sawyer is constantly offering the player opportunities to pursue a romantic relationship, and quite explicitly at that. They are somewhat naïve and will frequently ask if the activities the two of you are doing count as dates. If that interests you, then go for it!🐼 If not, politely decline and Sawyer will have no ill-will toward y﷽ou.
Because of this, there are many chances to change your mind throughout the run. If at the beginning you opt-out, but then decide after a few dates that you actually do like them, do not worry. For the first few dates, Sawyer will have a dialogue option along these lines. By the end though, they will have accepted your choices, so do not expect to randomly switch righ👍t at the end.
Sawyer’s Values

They always appreciate kindness, so sometimes lying to them to save their feelings can award you more love points than telling the truth.
