As 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Breath of the Wild takes a much more survivalist approach to traditional 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Legend of Zelda gameplay, it is almost n𒀰ecessary for players to hunt down various animals for their meat, since Meat Skewers are one of the best ways of both making Rupees and healing Link in the game.
Some of these animals are particularly cute in comparison to others, meaning it is harder for players to justify killing them for the sake of a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:few hearts of healing. On the other hand, there are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:less cute creatures that are so fast or aggressive that Link can't𝐆 kill them even if he could catch up to them.
10 🗹 Too Cute: Grassland Fox
The simple fox is probably one of the most common animals Link is likely to come across that aren't domesticated, since their natural environment spans the majority of the map. Foxes may be seen as major pests to those who have never watched Disney's The Fox and the Hound, but it's hard to look past that cute, orange face long enough to think of it as simply a necessary meal for the main character. There's also the fact that, if Link does kill one, it lets out a whimper that instantly makes players feel bad for their trans𓃲gressions against nature.
9 Can't Catch: Eldin Ostri🥂ch 👍
As the name suggests, these large birds are native to the Eldin region and the areas immediately surrounding 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Death Mountain. Like cuccos, it's easy to look past the bird face of an ostrich long enough to think o💝f it as nothing but meat with legs. Unfortunately for Link, the Eldin Ostrich has many similar characteristics to their real-world counterparts, including being incredibly fast and skittish. This means that, un🥃less Link is able to wear the Sheikah Armor long enough to sneak up on one without burning to death inside an active volcano, these birds are likely to run off without taking a single hit.
8 ꦓ Too Cute: Snowcoat Fox
Like the Grassland Fox, there's something about the Snowcoat Fox's cute look that makes it nearly🅰 impossible to want to kill. Its pure, white fur allows it to blend into its surroundings, usually found around Mount Lanayru where there is an abundance of snow.
This coat also has the effect of making it seem too pure an aspect of nature to possibly kill for its meat. The Snowcoat Fo☂x lets out the same, pained whimꦗper if it is found and killed, though finding one is easier said than done since it blends so well with its surroundings.
7 🦹 Can't Catch: Mountain Buck & Doe
The Mountain Buck and Mountain Doe, seen in mountainous, grassy areas on the map, seem like they would be a great source of food if only Link could manage to catch one of them. Like the Eldin Ostrich, these animals are incredibly fast and even harder to sneak up on, which is all the more infuriating since they can be ridden and are linked to a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:particular Shrine quest around a "crown of bone" riddle. Mountain Buck and Doe also take more than one arrow to bring down with your average bow♉, meaning Link can't even take them down from a distance easily.
6 Too Cute: Sparrows 🦄💖
There's something about animals that make them seem cuter the smaller they get. This is the case with the multiple varieties of Sparrow that flit around Hyrule's trees, who are so small that they are nearly impossible to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hit with an arrow even if players can get past their cute design. Nearly everything about these birds is dജesigned to keep players from killing them, since they don't even drop that much meat and are definitely not worth the hassle & emotional damage✤ that it takes to kill one.
5 Can't Ca🅠tch: Red Tusked Boar
The wild boar found in Hyrule are fairly hard to catch and kill, though they are worth the effort when it comes to the meat they leave behind. The slightly stronger version, the Red Tusked Boar that looks like it has gored a stray Bokoblin in its adventures, is even harder as it takes more damage to take do🗹wn and is a little more aggressive. Although they don't deal too much damage, they do love to charge down Link if he is getting a little too close for comfort and can easily kill a newbie hero if they are pursued too viciously.
4 ෴ ꦐ Too Cute: Blupee
The adorable little rabbit things with an equally adorable name are useful for only one thing: Rupees. When attacked, a Blupee will vomit up a handful of Rupees in an attempt to distract their prey long enough to disappear in a puff of pixie dust and can't be killed, unlike othe♎r animals.
Despite this, ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚit lets out a shocked cry when attacked and seems a lot mo🌳re terrified of Link when being chased down than any other animal, giving it a sense of innocence that isn't seen in other animals in Hyrule.
3 Can't Catch: Lord Of The Moun🅰tain
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Satori, the Lord of the Mountain, is possibly the most majestic mount in the game and is worth the trouble of taming just to see how the stablehands react to his presence. The problem is that, like other high-lev🔴el mounts, Satori is incredibly hard to tame as it requires nearly three full wheels of stamina to tame it without being thrown off. This isn't taking into account actually grabbing the beast either, since it is one of the fastest and most skittish animals in the entire game and is usually surrounded by Blupees, who are equally as skittish when startled.
2 🍌ܫ Too Cute: Squirrel
Like the Sparrows, Squirrels are super 𓂃cute, hard to hit, and don't give great rewards for the effort that is put into trying to kill one. Unlike Sparrows, however, Squirrels don't drop any meat when they are killed, instead dropping an Acorn in the place where Link mercilessly slaughtered an innocent, adorable rodent.
1 🌞 ꦚ Can't Catch: Giant Horse
Of all the mounts in Breath of the Wild, the giant horse may be one of the most unique. Unlike other horses, there are no spurs for it to dash at high speedꦓ, but its immense size means Link can simply run over enemies to kill them very easily and makes for an excellent battle horse. Unfortunately, it is similar to Satori in that it is incredibly hard to find and tame, with it needing a great deal of stamina to tame without being thrown off.
