Allowing Link to pull himself up far away ledges, the weapon would have been incredibly useful in Breath Of The Wild's open world. The item also doubles as a weapon, allowing Link to pull enemies closer to him.

He lusts after power and will stop at nothing to rule over Hyrule through domination. Breath Of The Wild takes place after Ganon has succeeded in conquering Hyrule, and therefore we only see his demonic form, Ganon, in the game, and not Ganondorf. His origins are explored in Skyward Sword, where it is revealed that Ganon is the eternal reincarnation of the demon Demise's hatred.

Whilst you can unlock Tingle's costume in the game (it definitely isn't one of the more desirable armor sets), the legend himself is nowhere to be found. Sporting green spandex and often floating by a red balloon, it's incredibly difficult not to spot Tingle, and yet whilst it's possible that he does feature as a hidden easter egg in Breath Of The Wild, it's also not very likely given that the game is now four years old. He is referenced with a string of islands named after him and his brothers.

The Triforce is the single most powerful object in the Zelda universe. Created by the three goddesses, Din, Nayru, and Farore, the Tri-Force gives whoever possesses it whatever they wish. The Triforce is what unites the fates of Ganon, Link, and Zelda time and time again, but it hardly features at all in Breath of the Wild. Some theorize that it has long been forgotten in the time period in which the game takes place. Perhaps we'll see it more in the sequel!
