MacDevitt's Bar

Once you've arrived in Ireland, you'll find yourself outside of MacDevitt's Bar. Speak to the kid to the right of the door, it doesn't m𒈔atter if y🅘ou introduce yourself properly or as Rosso.

Speak with him about the photo of the castle repeatedly until it disappears.

George will need to🍌 be next to it in order to time this right.

  • Ask about the gem.

Go over and stand next to the man sneezing in the corner. Wait for him to put his wire on the table and then grab it when he sneezes.

Once again, this is all about timingꦍ, so make sure you're righ✅t next to him and ready to get it.

Head outside and Maguire will immediately tell you what happened. End the conversation and check out the exposed electrical box on the wall.

Go back inside the bar and speak to the landlord to ask him to pour you a pint. He'll soon realise the pump is broken.

Show him Moerlin's electrician pass card, and he'll let you behind the bar.

Head back upstairs and leave the bar. Outside, open the trap door to the cellar. After a brief visit from Khan, go back into the bar and down into the cellar.🦩 George will grab the flashlight and then the gem. His priorities are wrong, clearly.

The Castle

George beside the haystack in Broken Sword Reforged.

At the castle, speak to the man beside the haybale about the sports car until the icon disappears, and then talk about Sean until he leaves you to guard the haystack.

Once he's gone, climb the haystack by interacting with it and go to the top. There, you'll want to use the sewer key from your inventory on the crack in the wall, and then you can climb over the wall and into the castle.

Once you're ove𓂃r the wall you'll be faced with the infamous goat puzzle. This one was a doozy back in the day, and while I make it look easy in our video, know that I paid my dues when I played the original version in my youth.

How To Get Past The Goat Puzzle

Essentially, you want to go down the step ladder to the right of the goat, but any time you attempt to do this it'll knock you down. What you need to do is go for the ladder, then once you're knocked down, quickly click the plough on the left so that George runs over and moves it. This causes the goat to get tangled in the plough, leaving you free to go down the ladder.

Line your cursor up with the plough🔥 while George is falling so that you're ready to click it as s💖oon as the icon appears.

Down the ladder, interact with the sack on the table on the right to get some plaster of Paris. Next, try to pick up the statue on the floor, then after it falls over, interact with it again so that it is standing once more.

Use the plaster of Paris from your inventory on the holes in the floor. Now it's time for a quick run back to the bar, so go ꦦback up the ladder, over the wall, into the bar, and into the cellar.

Switch the faucet on and then use the bar towel from your inventory on the faucet to make it wet. Once you've done that, return to the castle cellar with the plaster of Paris.

George wetting the cloth in Broken Sword Reforged.

You need to be as quick as possible doing this as otherwise the cloth will dry out and you'll have to go back to the 🐽bar and wet it again.

Use the bar towel on the plaster of Paris in the holes, and then pick up the freshly made plaster mould and use it on the holes in the wall to open up a secret door. Head inside for a short cutscene before returning to Paris.
