One crucial aspect of gaming that we often ignore is marketing. While many gamers might consider themselves connoisseurs who know what makes a good game simply from a trailer, the truth is that we see what companies want us to see. Giant open world games and battle royales are all the rage because publishers have been 𓄧168澳洲幸运5开奖网:throwing more resources into advertising them. But there's a lot more to gaming than that, and when we're lucky, an attention-grabbing ꦡpiece of marketing will come along to remind us of that.

Take this trailer for , for instance. It's not the sort of game that you'd expect to make a big splash with marketing. It knows what it is, the people paid to market it know what it is, its intended audience knows what it is. There won't be any big reveals or wild game mechanics in Bus Simulator. It's just a reliable game about driving a bus.

Why, then, does its PS4/Xbox One trailer start off in such an e🥂pic fashion?

Bus Simulator gives players control of an up-and-coming transit company in a fictio🧔nal European city. Gameplay consists of planning efficient routes, expanding operations, and of course driving buses. Rewards come in the form passenger events that tell mini-stories and more buses. The bonus buses even have replicas of real-world manufacturers. Overall it can be a relaxing, routine cruise🐼 or a detailed management sim. Not the sort of game that merits a trailer with such intense music.

What's most surprising, however, is that the campaign is working. A large number of comments on the trailer are excited celebrations. People have wanted a driving simulator on consoles for a long time, and Bus Simulator finally pulling up is a dream come true. Whoever🧜 is in charge of getting the word out is obviously doing a good job. Maybe more easygoing games need epic trailers.

Bus Simulator's console edition is aไvailable now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as a digital download.
