Killstreaks are a core part of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty's frantic multiplayer. Players are rewarded for killing multiple enemies in a single life with powerful air support and equipment that can swing matches in your favor. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Modern Warfare 3 would later go on to intr🧸oduce Supportstreaks, allowing objective plays to count towards killstreaks as well.
Regardless of what the game calls them, killstreaks can lead to some hectic encounters in any CoD game. Not all are created equal, however. Some Call of Duty games have shipped with nearly useless killstreaks that are more detrimental than helpful. Here are the 5 best and worst killstreaks you can use in the Call of Duty franchise.
10 Best: UAV (Every CoD Sinc🔜e Calꦕl Of Duty 4)
Arguably the most underrated killstreak in any Call of Duty title, the UAV ♒is invaluable to any team that wants a 🧸leg up on their opponent.
For 3 or 4 kills, UAVs will periodically ping targets on your team's minimap as long as the enemy is not 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:using Ghost or a similar perk. All UAVs excluding Ghost's SATCOMs are a fantastic killstreak that at leasꦍt one member of your t🐷eam should use.
9 ꦛ Worst: Molotov Cocktail (WW2)
What is normally a lethal piece of equipment in older Call of Duty titles is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a scorestreak in Call of Duty WW2.
For whatever reason, Sledgehammer thought a flaming bottle that will likely only kill one person is worth 225 points or equal to three kills. You only get one Molotov, and its radius🃏 is nothing noteworthy. There are many bettꦍer options to choose from.
8 Best: Tactical Nuke (Modern Warfare 2🦩🎃, Modern Warfare 2019)
No killstreak is as much of a game-ender as Modern Warfare 2's Tactical Nuke. Literally, it ends the ga𓆉me when someone calls oಌne in.
For a whopping 25 kills in MW2 or 30 in the reboot, players can call in a nuke that ends the match with a guaranteed victory for your team. There are no counters to this killstreak. Future CoD titles would go on to add a destructive 25 or 30 killstreak to earಞn, but none could end a match outright lཧike the nuke from these two games can.
7 💜 Worst: Airdrop Trap (MW3) 🌠
Having a Care Package stolen can be a frustrating ordeal in any Call of Duty match. If it makes you angry enough, you can forego Care Packages entirely and use the Airdrop Trap in Modern Warfare 3.
Airdrop Trap is a killstreak tied to the Support Strike Package. For 5 kills or objective completions, you can call in a fake Care Package that detonates when an enemy steals it. The issue is most enemies can tell if it's fake if you aren't trying to grab it. If you are pretending you're taking it, you'll likely die before the enemy steals it and explodꦉes. For 5 kills, you effectively get one guaranteed kill. That's not worth it in the slightest.
6 🔥 Best: Blackbird (Black Ops) 💛
Advanced UAVs are nothing new in the Call of Duty franchise, requiring a large amount of kills to reveal the position of every e🉐nemy and where they're looking in real time.
No CoD had a stronger Advanced UAV-type of killstreak like the SR-71 Blackbird in Black Ops, however. Most games require 12 kills to achieve an effect this strong, but Black Ops only requires 8! For 8 kills, you and your team get real-time info on your enemy's whereabouts for nearly a minute. In that time, you team can easily get 8 kills and call a second Blackbird in. This killstreak is also impossible to shoot down, meaning the enemy team has effectively lost the game if a Blackbird gets ca🥂lled in.
5 𒀰 Worst: Shield 𝓡Turret (Modern Warfare 2019)
Mobility and map knowledge are key to winning any Call of Duty match. That is why players gravit🌳ate towards UAVs and air-dominating killstreakꦿs to win games.
And that is also why the Shield Turret killstreak in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Modern Warfare 2019 is so bad. For 3 kills, players can spend over a second deploying a gun they must manually use. This turret kills in a couple of bullets, has slow travel time, can be destroyed with a single M4 magazine, and exposes your legs when in use. In♔ a game where you can die in 3 bullets and movement is so fast, standing still to use a subpar weapon is generally a terrible idea.
4 Best: Hellstorm Missile ౠ(Black Ops 2) 💜
Predator Missiles were introduced in Modern Warfare 2 as a powerful 5 killstreak reward. The player calls down a single missle that deals devastating damage o𝔍ver a wide area.
Out of every CoD title that has this killstreak, Black Ops 2's Hellstorm Missile was arguably the best. This missile could not only kill multiple enemies over a large radius, but it could detonate itꦑself mid-air to spawn cluster bomblets over a wider area. Obtaining 2 or 3 kills for each Hellstorm was not uncommon.
3 W🦋orst: Valkyrie Rockets (🦂Black Ops)
Call of Duty: Black Ops has some of the best killstreaks in the CoD franchise, having arguably the strongest non-nuke combo of Napalm Strike, Chopper Gunner, and Attack Dogs in on🙈e life.
What no one ever used was the Valkyrie Rockets killstreak. For 7 kills, players get 2 rockets from a rocket launcher that can kill enemies in its blast radius. The issue is the blast radius was slightly larger than a grenad🧜e. Flak Jacket users also could absorb the splash damage, leaving this killstreak best for destroying killstreaks. Even then, the rockets are so slow that players could shoot them down before they reached their destination. You'd be better off using an RC-XD, which only requires 3 kills instead of 7.
2 Best: Harrier Strike (MW2) 💎🥂
In terms of pure kill efficiency, it is difficult to top Modern Warfare 2's Harrier Strike. For 7 kills, you can call in an airstrike at a target loca✤tion and get a better helicopter.
A harrier hovers over the battlefield after the ai𝄹rstrike ends. It seems more aggressive than an Attack Helicopter, can take the same amount of rockets before dying, and can even destr💛oy other air support killstreaks in its domain. This killstreak is notorious for setting up Chopper Gunners and even Tactical Nukes with its ruthless kill efficiency. Harrier Strike should have been tied to a 9 killstreak instead of an easily achievable 7.
1 Worst: Helo Scout (Ghos꧒ts) ▨
Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Ghosts had some of the worst killstreaks this franchise has ever seen. Changing the UAV to a portable SATCOM in the map was bad enough, but nothing tops the uselessness of the Helo Scoutꦓ.
After earning a whopping 13 points, the player can enter the battlefield in a helicopter equipped with a sniper rifle. The helicopter sways as you snipe from above, making kills unlikely in this killstreak. Worse, you are fully vulnerable while in the helicopter! Enemies can shoot your hanging body off the side of the chopper, ending the killstreak entirely. This killstreak is detrimental to use in every scenario possible, easily making it the worst killstreak in any Call of Duty.
