168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty is one of the franchises gamers have anticipated every year since 2005 and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. In 2020, the series will be releasing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on both current and next-generation consoles.
Over the years the games have featured underrated campaigns with gripping narratives and memorable characters. Out of all of the protagonists, some are memorable and left a mark, while others were cookie🔜-cutter and forgettable. Where do they all rank when stacked up next to one another, though?
10 ꧅ 🅘 Logan Walker (Ghosts)
If it were up to the players, the companion dog in Call of Duty: Ghosts would have been the game's protagonist. Logan Walker is the younger of the two Walker brothers featured in the campaign and is considered to be the title's main protagonist. His initial focus is on shutting down the Federation, but he eventually focuses on killing former Ghost Gabriel T. Rorke and avenging his father and the other Ghosts. The game ends with Logan Walker trapped and in what appears to 🦩be Rorke's pit from earlier in the campaign.
9 Nick Rey🌳es (Infinite Warfare)
As Lt. Nick Reyes in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, players experience a campaign so far into the future, and science fiction൩ 𝔉influenced that it doesn't really feel like Call of Duty at its core. Reyes as a character is pretty honorable and hard-headed but players never got to the point where they cared enough about him that his death during the climax of the game affected them. If you did manage to form a connection, the recorded messages of the now-deceased Retribution crew can be heard during the credits.
8 𓆏 Unnamed (Black Ops 3)
The campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops III certainly earns points for inventiveness and uniqueness, but the lack of a central protagonist makes the games narrative rather forgettable. Since the game put a focus on 4-player co-op each mission features four playable characters. This means that throughout the game you never get attached to or learn more about any specific character. It's unclear how many people enjoyed it, as the next game in the Black Ops series didn't eꦰven feature a campaign mode and simply released with just multiplayer.
7 ♔ Yuri (MW3)
Some of the most interesting characters in military storytelling are the defectors who were once loyalists and come to a moment of enlightenment in which they switch sides. Yuri is exactly that and the former Russian commander saves Soap and Price on multi🙈ple occasions.
It is because of Yuri that Price isn't killed by Makarov at the end of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and thanks to Yuri's sacrifice, Price is able to finally kill Makarov and enjoy a nic𓃲e cigar as he watches his ultimate nemesis han🐽g from a loose cable.
6 Red (WW2)
Classic war stories that connect with people often have a youthful inexperienced soldier that the audience can relate to and navigate the story from their perspective. Players take the reigns of Ronald "Red" Daniels in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: WWII and he is exactly that to the very detail. He's part of the 1st Infantry Division during World War 2 and experiences fir𒁏st hand how that United States squad became legendary. Thankfully he makes it out alive and is able to honor some of his fellow soldiers he fought alongside, including Lt. Joseph Turner.
5 Jack Mit♕chell (Advanced Warfare)
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare isn't exactly revered by fans of the franchis♓e, but this list is specifically focusing on the protagonists of the games. Both the likeness of Mitchell and his voice are g♛ifted by the wonderful and accomplished voice actor Troy Baker. The narrative of the game itself isn't too interesting and is pretty forgettable, but Baker shines among the noise, as he always does. No one is going to be clamoring for a Mitchell operator in Call of Duty: Warzone, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be remembered.
4 🧸 Roach (MW2) 🎃
In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players take on the role of Gary "Roach" Sanderson, a British Special Forces member and a key player in the fictitious World War III. Many Modern Warfare fans cons✤ider this to be the best campaign in the series and 🍬part of that has to do with how Roach fits in with Soap, Price, and Ghost, beloved characters in the series. Towards the end of the game, players are shocked when both Roach and Ghost meet their demise and they must finish the game with Price and Soap.
3 ꧋ David Mason (Black Ops 2)
David Mason is the son of Alex Mason from the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Black Ops and is the protagonist of the follow-up sequ▨el. Despite David working in a different time and environment than his father, he does share a relationship with Frank Woods despite his s🌱tory taking place in 2025.
The 🍎neat𒀰 thing about this game is that, as David Mason, players make choices that directly affect the outcome of the game. Depending on how the story unfolds players will finish with one of eight endings based on the conditions that were met.
2 ✅ Alex 𝓀(Modern Warfare)
Though you play as four different characters in 2019's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it seems that Alex is considered the canon main character for most people. He's a member of the C.I.A. who goes by the callsign Echo 3-1, and little is known about his life outside of the military. The new take on the franchise is a spiritual reboot of sorts that sees many of the themes and characters from the original trilogy remixed in interesting ways. It's unclear whether he lives or not at the end of the game, but it is strongly✤ hinted at that he lives.
1 Alex Mason (Black Ops)🌳 𒀰
It's hard to deny at this point that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alex Mason isn't the most well-known prot⭕agonist in all of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty game series. The phrase "what do the numbers mean, Mason?" has become an internet meme that will not die and most of that is due to the popularity of the Black Ops series. Mason was in both the first and second Black Ops titles and served different roles in each. In the first title, he♎ endures psychological warfare on ♌a different scale and players experience first-hand how quickly someone can lose an understanding of their very reality.
