With a new season around the corner and a few months under its belt, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Warzone has proven to be one of the best 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Battle Royale games in the genre currently. Its combination of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty's fast combat with the standard BR gameplay loop has made it a major success for Modern Warfare.
With that said, the mode isn't perfect. Issues with cheaters, the balance of certain weapons, and the frequently shifting playlists holds the otherwise fantastic addition back. As with most Battle Royale games, Warzone is likely to see plenty of changes and additions as the game evolves both good and bad. Here are 5 changes we'd love to see for Call of Duty Warzone along with 5 we hope never happen.
10 Love To See𒅌: Custom Matches
Warzone's pre-game warmups are useful for getting your bearings before a session, but it would be nice if 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Infinity Ward included custom games for both BR and Plunder.
Similar to custom games for Multiplayer, players could choose bot count, difficulty, and various modifiers to su🐈it their needs. It would allow for great warmup routines before playing matches with 🗹other players, and it would make tournaments for the game mode much easier to host.
9 ဣ Don't Want: Global Economy 🎃Changes
After the removal of guaranteed cash from chests, the economy in Warzone is downright perfect as-is. Players are encouraged to face off aga💮inst other squads or complete contracts now.
Looting is a key part of any BR game, but it was too strong in Warzone considering players could 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:purchase Loadouts and killstreaks. Solos still need an economy adjustඣment to make earning items slightly easier, but besides that, the economy is perfect currently. It promotes enough aggressive play to keep most games exciting for coor𝓡dinated groups or solo players.
8 Love To See: No Lꦬoadout Variant
One of Warzone's💦 greatest weaknesses is also its greatest strength. The inclusion of Loadout Drops makes the looting aspect of its Battle Royale mode matter much less than any other game in the genre.
Hardcore fans of BR titles and those accustomed to Black Ops 4's Blackout mode have expressed disagreement over this decision. With the game's recent inclusion of variants for the base BR modes, a variant with no Loadout Drops or purchasable Loadout Markers would emphasize the loot🍨 game without alienating the player base.
7 🔥 𝓀 Don't Want: One Playable Map Per Season
If recent leaks are to be believed, a new map is currently in development for Warzone. Ass𒈔uming this is true, it is likely the maps will rotate per season.
This has been done in other Battle Royale games such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Apex Legends, and many fans of that game have expressed frustration over it. If Warzone's new map isn't as well made as Verdansk is, there is a high probability they'll be a massive drop in players for that season. Allowing players to queue for certain maps would solve this issue and still allow Warzone to grow like other games in the genre.
6 Lo💃ve To See: Perk Rebalance
The perks in Modern Warfare were never balanced for a Battle Royale variant. Even after Infinity Ward adjusted certain perks to have a place in Warzone, much work is left to be done.
Scavenger, Quick Fix, and Shrapnel are a few examples of perks that don't have a place in Warzone's sandbox. Conversely, perks like Ghost and E.O.D. are arguably too strong for a mode so reliant on map knowledge and clearing squads of players. Every perk in Modern Warfare should have a Warzone variant that fits the sandbox instead of the few overpowered ones that dominate the meta currentl🌞y.
5 Don't Want: Crossover Events 💛
Crossover events have occurred long before 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fortnite made them popular. Having two different franchises collide together during an event is usually a memorable experience, but this is something Warzone does not need.
Warzone's more grounded elements make it hard for crossovers with other IPs to be memorable. Including Thanos in Warzone just wouldn't work, even though it was one of the most memorable events hosted for Fortnite. This game would be best to expand its lore instead of borಞrowing other franchises for short-time events.
4 ♓ Love To See: Better Anti-cheat 🐲
Even after the changes Infinity Ward made to the anti-cheat system utilized in Modern Warfare and Warzone, cheaters still run rampant and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ruin games for everyone.
Accounts that cheat level as high as the cap of 155 before being caught, which is completely unacceptable. With the game's inclusion of Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM for short), those who cheat tend to match with higher-skilled players and streamers. Console players have disabled crossplay with PC players with how bad it can get. The implementation of two-factor authentication for PC users is a fantastic step in the right direction, but further action must be taken to remove these cheaters from Warzone matches.
3 💜 🧜 Don't Want: Abandoned Support
Of course, every video game that is a live service or relies on frequent updates has to close shop at some point. However, Call of Duty games are particularly prone to this.
With Activision's focus on releasing a Call of Duty entry every year, it results in post-launch support for most games to be rather lacking. Black Ops 4's Blackout BR mode had the potential to compete with the likes of Apex Legends and Fortnite, but that mode was abandoned and replaced with Warzone. The core foundation of Warzone and Blackout are so solid that they should be expanded for years instead of made obsolete after each CoD release.
2 Lo⛄ve To See: Permanent BR Duos And Quads
Nothing is more frustrating than wanting to play duಌos with a friend and the playlist is unavailable. After the inclusion of quads shortly𝔍 after launch, Battle Royale should never be missing a matchmaking option.
Warzone allows play𒈔ers to matchmake solo, in duos with a friend, in trios with two party members, or quads with three. For whatever reason, Infinity Ward has neglected to add BR duos for several weeks and instead implementing Plunder duo variants. BR should always have every squad matchmaking option available regardless of playlist variants. The same should happen with Plunder.
1 Don't Want: Stealth Ch🐈anges
Infinity Ward has a common tendency to change , alter game systems, or add new features in Modern Warfare without ever mentioning them in the patch notes.
It is unclear if this is a continual oversight or intentional, but this results in massive balance changes occurring without anyone's knowledge. This would make sense if done rarely, but this almost always occurs after an update that isn't a hotfix. Its like clockwork, defeating the purpose of the changes being unlisted. Since Warzone shares MW's weapons and perks, it will continue to suffer from these obscure changes. Infinity Ward needs to make these changes clear in patch notes or decouple MW's sandbox from Warzone's unique meta.
