Activision has confirmed that we’ll be getting the next mainline Call of Duty game this 🍃year and it’s being jointly developed by Treyarch and Raven Software.
Last night, Activision wrapped up its second-quarter earnings call with a ton of info on what to expect with Call of Duty. We’ve known 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:thanks to a leaky Doritos bag that the game would be called 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but now we’ve got it straight from the horse’s 𓃲moutᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚh.
Not only that, we know Treyarch and Raven Software, two giant studios in Activision's Call of Duty roster, are making the game. It'll also come out before the end of the year, with a Q4 2020 launch 🌄window (which means anywhere from October to December).
And apparently, Black Ops Cold War is looking great.
"The game looks incredible right now, and internally, people are having a ton of fun playing across its campaign mode as well as the online modes that the developers are very well known for," revealed Activision President Rob Kostich. "And so, all I can say♏ in terms of timing is I suspect you’ll be hearing more about this fairly soon."
Although Activision was quick to tout their upcoming game's accomplishments, they kept details of what those accomplishments were pretty close to their chest. We don't know much about Black Ops Cold War other than who's making it, it'll have꧃ both a cಌampaign and multiplayer mode, and a vague idea of when the game will come out.
But we do know that Activision is likely to release those details in Warzone. CEO Bobby Kotick noted that Warzone has incredible reach within the Call of Duty community with 75 million players. This means they can drop hints about the new game, sort of like how they've been doing for the past fe🦋w months.
It also means they'll likely need to spend less on advertising too. ♌Stay tuned for more details as they're revealed.
