Battle Royale gameplay is coming to the next Call of Duty title, and it may also b꧋e coming to the Nintendo Switch.
We know that the next Call of Duty game is going to be the fourᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚth installment of ✃the Black Ops sub-franchise. As if that wasn’t complicated enough, we’re also pretty sure t🌟hat the neꦡxt Call of Duty will also get a Battle Royale mode.
To make things even more complicated, ⭕that same Battle Royale mode isn’t necessarily going to be in the ꧅same game. According to rumors with , that Bat𒊎tle Royale Mode is actually going to be a sepa🉐rate game developed concurrently with Black Ops 4 and then bundled together when the game officially releases on Octobe﷽r 12th.
The Battle Royale COD is said to be under development with Raven Software, assistant developers to near𓂃ly all of the Call of Duty games, while Black Ops is being made by Treyarch.
Now we havওe another rumor saying that a stand-alone version of COD Battle Royale might be com𓄧ing to the Nintendo Switch. Not Black Ops 4 though--just the Battle Royale game, whatever that ends up being c🐓alled.

So far, we know very little of what the COD Battle Royale game will be like. We know it will follow the standard battle royale formula of last-man-standing wins, and that it will likely have all t🐼he guns and hardware found in whatever finds its way to Black Ops 4, but that’s it. We don’t even have a name yet.
As for being on the Switch, well, that just makes sense when you want to grow your audience. Nintendo’s Switch is a hot commodity even a year after it෴s release, practically single-handedly saving 𝓡the company and making Nintendo relevant again after nearly half a decade of falling behind Microsoft and Sony.
We should stress that this 🌜is just a rumor from anonymous sources, and there’s no corroborating evidence yet. That sai🦩d, a battle royale game on the Switch is a slam dunk. The only thing that could kill this idea is if Nintendo has plans for a battle royale Splatoon game. But otherwise, if COD can get in on the Switch before Fortnite and PUBG, it’ll have a whole market all to itself.
