Summary
- Zombies has long been a staple part of Treyarch's Call of Duty games, but it isn't the most accessible mode for players, particularly those who want to experience the story.
- Beginning with Black Ops 6, there will be a "Guided Mode" that will help players experience a map's story with additional tips and round capping.
- Veteran players will receive unique rewards for completing a map the hard way, but the addition is meant to welcome new players to the world of Zombies.
Since its initial release as part of in 2007, Zombies has been a staple mode of Treyarch's COD titles. In the time since, the maps have gotten bigger, the weapons and perks wilder and the Easter Eggs more zany. Oh, and the story has gotten even deeper. Yes, that's right, Zombies has a story, and it's really good.
That said, for as much fun as Zombies is, and trust us, it's a lot of fun, completing the story of a map along with its Easter Eggs isn't the easiest thing to do. Of course, if you're a Zombies veteran or have a squad full of friends, it's entirely possible. However, for a good portion of Call of Duty's player base, the storyline is pretty difficult, particularly as the rounds go on and the number of Zombies increases.

There's nothing better than tipping over from "always bad" 𓂃to "occasionally good."
Starting with this year's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Black Ops 6, Treyarch is changing that. The studio announced that its Zombies mode will have a "Guided Mode," meant to help new and rookie players see the 🐭story of a given map.
More Accessibility Is Always A Good Thing
, which , Treyarch explained exactly how the new mode will work, as well as♏ its r꧋ationale for doing it.
For starters, this mode will not be available at launch. This is done to allow the community to put "their heꦍads together to find and complete the Main Quest and Side Quests," as has been the case with all the previous Zombies maps. Instead, the mode will launch later in the season.
When the mode does launch, "players will receive focused guidance through the Main Quest with rounds capped to certain stages of their quest progression." In other words, the rounds won't get ahead of you while you try and complete the map. That said, the guided mode isn't without its caveats. In order to ensure "the narrative is the singular priority," all Easter Eggs and Side Quests will be disabled.
For completing the main quest, unique rewards will be given to players, with an extra reward for doing so without a guide. And for those who manage to beat the main quest before the guided mode launches, they'll also receive a limited edition Calling Card.
Treyarch is hoping this new mode can "welcome more players into the world of Zombies." Additionally, the studio added that, "If you’ve ever been curious about jumping into the Zombies story with both feet, this is your time." It's a fascinating development that will no doubt loop more players into the mode. More so, Treyarch found a way to balance the desires of old-fashioned players with its own desire to onboard new ones. The end result, is a mode that is accessible and fun for all.
