A ton of info has already come out about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as of late, including information regarding its 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Special Ops Survival Mode, story, aꦕnd other elements. Now, a little information is coming our way concerning the game's post-r꧑elease plans.
A recent leak, which has been semi-confirmed, shows that the post-release content will come in the form of seasons. Spe🐼cifically, there are five seasons in total.
Last week, di🌊scovered hints to these potential post-release seasons within the game's files. They are as follows:
- Season 1 – Broken Arrow
- Season 2 – Cyber Attack
- Season 3 – Bio Warfare
- Season 4 – Home Grown Terrorism
- Season 5 – Climate War
Interestingly, there had seemingly been some confirmation about this leak, or at least part of it, when an interview with the Hollywood Reporter revealed the authenticity of the Home Grown Terrorism season. An imag♏e of said confirmation can be seen below.
There has been no official word of confirmation from Infinity Ward or Activision about this leak as of yet. However, given the image above, the li♛kelihood that these are seasons to be released one at a time is fairly high.
If so, these are very interesting and appear similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's method of releasing DLC. It is worth noting that the maps and game modes to come in the post-release content will be free. However, as notes,✤ there will likely be loot boxes and microtransactions to come along with the game's multipl💙ayer component, as unfortunate as that might be for many players.
It is interesting to consider what these tentative seasons might entail. Broken Arrow may have something to do with an added Crossbow weapon, for instance, while Cyber Attack could add Perks related to cyber warfare, such as EMPs and similar weapons of war. Meanwhile, the Bio Warfare season is especially noteworthy because of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:white phosphorous controversy and Infinity Ward's response to it.
In either regard, we'll keep you updated as more information trickles down regarding these leaks and other Modern Warfare-related content.
