Open Combat Missions are a new type of campaign mission that mimics last year's DMZ mode, acting as an open sandbox with minimal scripted sequences. They don't have the flair of your typical CoD campaign mission, but they offer a great deal of replay value and playstyle freedom.

The first open combat mission in this game, Precious Cargo, is packed with collectible items to find. If you're looking to earn every achievement/trophy in MW3, you'll need to find all of these items and complete a somewhat tricky challenge. This guide will cover how to complete the Precious Cargo mission, where to find every collectible, and explain how to complete the Floater achievement.

Precious Cargo Weapon And Equipment Locations

This mission contains 21 weapons and items in total. You'll find most of the collectibles aboard the docked ship and the office building on the southeast corner of the map. All items can be obtained right at the start of the mission, although we recommend grabbing the Ascender and Parachute upgrades first before you start exploring.

Plate Carrier Locations

1. Located towards the front of the ship. Enter the room with the loadout crate to find it.
2. Found towards the stern of the ship, hidden inside a storage container.

Ascender Location

The Ascender item is located next to the crane structure adjacent to the docked ship. Look at the base of the crane to find it.

Parachute Location

The parachute for Precious Cargo is located right next to the Ascender. Head to the southern grapple point on the docked ship to find the parachute near a resupply station.

How To Earn The Floater Achievement

Precious Cargo's unique achievement is Floater, which requires you to glide atop the Harbormaster's building, the southeast corner of the map. You can easily complete this by ascending the nearby crane structure and parachuting to the roof. Jump off the corner of the crane before deployin꧅g your parachute to give yourself some height. Aim to land on the corner of the roof (shown aboཧve).

Acquire The GPS Trackers

Farah will be tasked with acquiring a cache of GPS trackers to track the nearby missile containers. You'll find the GPS trackers in the bow of the docked ship, located on the northeast corner of the map. You can get onto the ship by ascending a rope on the southern end or swimming towards a ladder on the northern side. Whichever way you choose, find your way to the front of the ship and grab the trackers. Stop by the loadout crate while you're here, as the adjacent supply crate has a grenade launcher you c🥃an use.

Retrieve The Manifest From The Harbor Tower Building

The manifest files may be found on the third floor of the Harbormaster's building, located on the southeast corner of the harbor. A small group of enemies will be patrolling the area, so be sure you've scavenged a weapon and some armor before proceeding. The folders are located in an office on the southern end of the hall.

Plant GPS Trackers On Missile Containers

After you've acquired the manifest and GPS trackers, it's time to mark the missile containers in the harbor. You'll find the containers on the northern and southern edges of the map, as shown above.

• First Container: Found near the southwest corner of the map. Climb up the nearby wooden containers to reach it.
• Second Container: Make your way to the crane structure outside the docked ship. Ascend the rope to find the container.

The mission will end the second you pꦯlant both GPS trackers, so feel free to ignore the guards protecting the second crate.
