Monster Hunter Rise, which is due to be released for Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 26, once again has players take on the role of a Hunter, whꦺo must slay or trap monsters using a variety of weapons, tools, and environmental features toꦬ inflict injury while surviving their attacks.

The game's producer, Ryozo Tsujimoto, said that with World and Rise, the developers wanted to avoid the usual numbering for the main titles in the Monster Hunter series and name them after the ga🧔me’s central concept, with Monster Hunter Rise mirroring the game's vertical levels and gameplay elements.

Monster Hunter Rise is expected to have free post-release content like Monster Hunter: World. A month-long demo of tღhe game was released on January 7 with four quests, all fourteen weapons, and single player and o💙nline multiplayer support. The demo's release temporarily caused Nintendo’s eShop servers to shut down.

On March 26, a special edition Nintendo Switch bundle, which will include the console and dock adorned with the game’s artwork, as well as a copy of the game, is also set to be released. According to Tsujimoto, during the development of Monster Hunter Rise, they "considered the characteristics of the🔜 Nintendo Switch, which can be used as a handheld, and with that in mind we focused on hunting at a higher tempo than before.”
