Capcom Wants To Bring Back Even More IP After Okami And Onimusha

♕According to Capcom, alongside regularly releasing major titles each year, the studio is now focused on "re-activating dormant IPs that haven't had a new title launch recently". This Is being done so that it can "enhance corporate value by leveraging its💛 rich library of content", which is basically corporate speak for wanting to dive deeper into its backlog of games.
We actually got a little taste of this earlier in the year with Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which could very well lead to a sequel or more games in the series getting brought b🌟ack. God, I sure hope so.
While both Okami and Onimusha are still fairly far away and look like the next step in Capcom achieving this goal, it does open the door for more dormant IPs fromꦓ the developers being brought back in the future. Dino Crisis and Marvel vs. Capcom are the o🍨bvious ones, but then smaller games like God Hand and Viewtiful Joe seem l𝐆ike very good steps in bringing back Capcom classics.
