Every client is different, but most of them won't be happy if you send marked bills along with their cleaned cash. If you don't keep an eye out for those bills and send them to a clien🧜t by accident, you won't get much of a reward, and your freedom will be that much farther away.

Cash Cleaner Simulator is in Early Access on Steam, so information in the article below may be subject 𝄹to change at a later date.

What Are Marked Bills?

Besides dealing with separating real bills from counterfeit ones, another common obstacle you'll have to handle is figuring out whether bills are marked or not.

Real bills also have parts that glow under UV Light to help you determine if a bill is real or counterfeit, but they glow a bright blue on the official stꦆamp, tracking stamps, and bill d𒉰enomination.

Marked bills come in three different types – Police-Marked, Gang-Marked, and FDI-Marked – and each has its own type or set of symbols that appear on a bill.

  • Police-Marked has a large red X over half of the bill.
  • Gang-Marked has either a red square, red hourglass, or a thick, smaller red X on the bill.
  • FDI-Marked has a red eye on the right side of the bill.

These marks are normally invisible, and the only way to reveal them is to use a UV Lamp to reveal the marking while it's dark, which makes the markings glow red or black.

How To Identify Marked Bills

Marked Bills are one of several obstacles or objectives you need to deal with, and they begin appearing once you get a UV Lamp during the main quest, The Light Test, which asks you to check for counterfeit bills.

From there, what you'll want to do is place all the money you need to check in a pile or a box near your table or the workbench 🌸that's unlocked after the ღmain quest, Light It Up.

While you can sort through bills however you like, separating them into groups of 15 to 25 makes the task a lot easier and prevents them from piling up.

Next, grab a few of the bills and lay them down on the table or inside the workbench. If it's the table, you'll want to manually spread them out, but for the workbench, it will automatically spread them apart once you put them in.

Then wait until it's nighttime before placing and turning on the Portable UV Lamp, or turning on the Ultraviolet Inspection Lamp, which is bought from the Black Market App, and automatically attaches to the inside of the workbench.

If you want to quickly pass the time until it's dark to better check the bills, you can sit down on the black cushion your base started with to speed things up.

The light it gives off will highlight any markings on the bills within its radius, allowing you to see whether it's a Marked Bill or not, as well as if it's a Real Bill or a counterfeit one, which will lack the blue glow of official stamps.
