The new season of Netflix's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Castlevania anime is mostly what fans have to expect from the series: a bloody good time. It's full of action, heart, and some decent jokes as well. The comedy is actually some of this season’s biggest strengths like the mere concept🌌 of toilet paper being mystical.

Some of the humor comes from moments that the animators and writers did not intend though. That's where the community comes in. The 𒉰following may not replace the greatest video game memes of all time like Sanic, or everything involving Wal♑uigi, but they will hopefully make those in the know cast a few chuckles.

10 Destructo Disc

During the final battle, Sypha had some amazing spell casting. One involved her creating a disc made of ic🐻e she then flung at her foes which cut through se🅰veral demons.

Very satisfying. It should come as no surprise then that this technique reminded fans of Krillin’s Destructo Disc technique from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Ball Z. It o💖perates the same way, but instead 🌄of ice it is just a pure form of energy. Both are extremely powerful.

9 Toss A Coin To Your Belmont

This joke works on so many levels. First of all the most obvious reference is to Netflix’s other video game adaptation, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Witcher, which is where that 🐻song comes from. Trevor then is kind of like Geralt in that he slays monsters in a vague European set of locations.

He doesn’t normally do it for coin though, but it still works. The left side depicts Saint Germain when he literally tosses a coin to a vendor for some bread to buy Trevor. So in a way he is indeed tossingꦇ him a coin.

8 Sad Alucard

The sad Keanu meme is pretty old and dead by this point, but as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Castlevania ♏is all about resurrection, it seemed fitting to bring it back.

The main joke here is that in the abꦗsence of Trevor and Sypha, Alucard is deeply depressed. It’s both sad ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚand funny given the fact that he is talking to dolls in a funny manner. At least he isn’t using a beach ball and calling it Wilson.

7 Crack That Whip

Is this reference t💜oo old for youth today? In ca𝕴se some might not get it, the band Devo released a song in the 80s called “Whip It.”

Unlike a lot of songs where the title is a metaphor for something, the video depicts them literally whipping things like clothes off of a woman. It is weird without a doubt, but still worth checkiಞn🍷g out. The joke then is obvious as in this point in the anime Trevor gets serious and brings out both his whips in order to vanquish evil.

6 It's Raining Men

This is another song reference that might be lost on most. “It’s Raining Men” was a one hit wonder from The Weather Girls, also in the 1980s. In the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:case of Castlevania, ꧒it is a lot worse than that as it is literally rainin🐠g men.

This scene is not as glorifying as The Weather Girls would have hoped for in their song as these men have just been released from a mind prison and are probably not in the mood for romance. Also, dollars to donuts they aren’t going to൩ survive the fall.

5 Castlevania: Season Thirsty

Up to this point Castlevania has had plenty of blood and guts, but not a lot of adult situations. The same holds true for most of this season until the very end when Lenore and Hector 🀅start getting intimate in his jail cell.

On top of that Takka and Zumi decide to pay Alucard a visit. What makes these events so odd is that they are intercut between Trevor and Sypha battling demons in what is essentially ꦺa bloodfest. Based on these two scenes alone it is obvious the animators have been holding out for awhile.

4 What're Ya Buyin’?

Ah yes, the famous words of the mysterious merchant from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil 4. Whenever an equally cu🔯rious peddler appears on screen be it in a game, or movie it’s hard not to get his voice in the old noggin.

As an added bonus to this joke, take a look at what he is holding. That mask could be a reference to the many masks found in Lords of Shadow. It could also be a nod to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The point ꦗis this merchant definitely has some good buys.

3 Why Is the Rum Gone?

This is the basis of a meme equally as old as sad Keanu. Johnny Depp screaming about rum from Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the most memorable sceꦐnes in the m✃ovie.

While Alucard is not drinking rum and or crying ab🌠out spilled whine, combining the two together makes one heck of a joke. Perhaps Alucard🎃 does scream about rum. Who wants to drink nothing but wine all the time anyway?

2 Locked In

This is, of course, a reference to one of the pivotal scenes in both the comic book and film adaptation of Watchmen. It doesn't make as much sense in this scene from Castlevania as in the original context, Ro🎉rschach is in prison with a bunch o🧸f other inmates.

In this case Hector tried to get the upper hand on his captor, Lenore, only to be beaten ridiculously easy. It was a cool moment, but just for a few seꦡconds as captured in this still image before, agaꦍin, he was taken down a peg.

1 LittleBigVania 🦩

From the original release to the final game, LittleBigPlanet had tons of crossover DLC. Most of this was just in the form of costumes like characters from the aforementioned Watchmen film. There were more elaborate setups that added levels along with costumes like Metal Gear Solid 4.

The point is among all of the costume packs Castlevania was never represented. These homemade dolls Alucard made look a little like Sackboy and Sackgirl from that series so it's kind of like DLC that never happened. Well, there is always 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dreams for fans to make this wish a reality.
