CD Projekt Red’s creative directory and Cyberpunk 2077 narrative director🎉 has picked up and moved to California to work for Blizzard Entertainment.
In news that’s shaking up the gaming world, Sebastian Stępień, the former creative director at CD Projekt Red and the main narrative and setting director for Cyberpunk 2077, has left the company after 12 years of servi♉ce. He now calls Irvine, California his 🐲home and is working for Blizzard Entertainment.
According to Stępień’s , he’s worked at CD Projekt Red since August of 2006. Since then he’s had a role in every Witcher game ever made and was one of three creative directors that worked on The Witcher 3. For the past 6 years, Stępień has worked on Cyberpunk 2077 as creative director and narrative a♎nd setting director.
However, as of January, Stępień now works at Blizzard꧒ Enterta💙inment. There is no information as to what he’s working on, just that it’s still in the role of creative director.
News of Stępień’s departure almost certainly means that Cyberpunk 2077’s story is complete and any work remaining on the game is purely technical in nature. CD Projekt Red’s E3 gameplay reveal seems to confirm this by showing the first 45 minutes of the game’s campaign. Producer Richard Borzymowski that the game’s story exists in its finished form, and all that remains are bug fixes ꧙and the completion of certain game assets.

With nothing left to do, Stępieಞń has moved on to greener pastures it seems🎀. But what could he be up to over at Blizzard?
Blizzard has been laying low recently after their disastrous end to 2018. Diablo Immortal’s reveal at BlizzCon angered many Blizzard faithful to the point where many were 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ꦆ꧑calling for the mobile game’s cancellation. Additional reports revealed some questionable decisions happening behind the scenes, and some fear that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Activision’s corporate ideology has supplanted Blizzard𝔉’s method of creating great games.
If Stępień is joining the team, that could only mean they have something for him to work on. Diablo 4 is reportedly in the works and it would be very much on-brand considering Stępień’s pཧrevious experience with the Witcher series.
