Part of these differences may not have been changed so much as sho𓂃wn alternate interpretations of how the story would play out. To paint a clearer pictur🦹e, let’s go through all four of those videos to see exactly how much Cyberpunk 2077 changed.

Spoilers will be included.

8 🤡 🔯 Change In Heroes?

Let’s begin with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the game’s teaser trailer released in 2013. Now, for all intents and purposes, this was made to announce t🥃hat CD Projekt Red was working on a game in the se💯ries. It was never really stated that everything in it was going to pertain to the final product which is good as pretty much nothing has crossed over.

There is the girl with blades who may or may not have been the protagonist. The police might have, at one point, been the lead🎃s, at least in the way the story plays out in the teaser.

7 ☂ Transportation Changes 🐼

After the 2013 teaser, the game took a slumber until the first actual trailer 🎐premiered in 2018 at E3. There are a few snippets in the t🍌railer that can be taken out to show how the game has changed. For one thing, V is shown riding a subway into the city.

There is no transportatio༺n system like that readily available to the player in the game. V’s starting car was also very different. There is also a guy on a scooter wheelchair which players would never have gotten to uꦉse presumably but it would have been cool to see NPCs whirl around Night City in them.

6 ♎ 🦩 Delamain And Taxis

Taxis are another vehicle type that t🃏urned out quite differently. In the game, there is the Delamain Taxi Service, which is a high-class option that comes with bulletproof casing and weaponry. There are no normal taxis that players can use for NPC transportation as predicted in the E3 2018 trailer.

Furthermore, the people in the back of the cab actually look like Delamain, suggesting that maybe at one point they would have had a body. That’s ju♔st a theory, however.

5 🙈 Samurai Jacket 🍷

Cyberpunk 2077 trailer screenshots

The E3 2018 trailer and the two later ones that came out in 2019 all have V wearing a samurai jacket. Now, in the final game, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:this is Johnny Silverhand’s attire. While players do get it in the final version, the jacket sho🎉ws up much later inও the game than suggested by the trailers.

This e♋arly advertising may have suggested that ♍the jacket was V’s to begin with. Or it could just have been used as a cool promo to get players interested in the design.

4 More Allies During 𝔉The Heist ෴

Cyberpunk 2077 trailer screenshots

There is a CG representation of the meeting r𓃲ight before The Heist mission begins in the game. In the final🌼 version, Dex, his bodyguard, T-Bug, Jackie, and V are there with the drone. The E3 2018 version does not have Jackie in it and has four random extras.

It could be presumed that one is an alternate version ofꦫ V but the rest are unknowns. This may suggest The Heist may 🅺have been more involved or at least had more operatives.

3 P🦄ost-Heist Meetup ♛

Speaking of The Heist, the🧸 E3 2019 trailer was all about the aftermath of that mission. In the final game, Jackie dies on the ride over to Dex, T-Bug 🍨dies off-screen, and V meets up with Dex and his bodyguard alone.

While the trailer does have a similar room, there are some notable changes. For example, T-Bug is there and is actually trying to fi𒊎ght V, which suggests her loyalty was at once with Dex. Also, V gets to 𝄹fight back before being shot by Dex and “dying.”

2 🦂 Wake Up Samurai

Cyberpunk 2077 trailer screenshots

“Wake the f*** up Samurai, we have a cityღ to burn.” This is the last line of the E3 2019 trailer. After D❀ex shoots V and disposes of him in the dump, the protagonist wakes up to see Johnny Silverhand. In the game, this plays out much differently just like the previous scene.

Dex and Takemura find V in the dump, Takemura kills Dex and takes V away, only to get chased by ki🅺llers in a car pursuit. Skipping ahead, Johnny doesn’t show up in V’s mind until the apartment and doesn’t say this 💙trailer line that got everyone so hyped on the Reeves train.

1 E3 2019 Demo Walkthrough C🐻hanges

Cyberpunk 2077 trailer screenshots

At E3 2019, CD Projekt Red showed a private 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:demo of the game to the press. This was later released to the public in the summer, and it started off with a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:character creator before heading into the Sandra rescue mission as well as the factory heist of the drone. Both of those missions and thꦓe city itself look relatively the same but there are small differences that stick out.

First of all, the player setup is d🧸ifferent. Not just aesthetically but players could choose to worship Johnny Silverhand, Morgan Blackhand, or Saburo Arasaka. There were also different reasons for coming to Night City, such as having unfinished business as well as Key Life Events like the death of a sibling. V was also shown in the third-person perspective in multiple scenes, which suggested gameplay would focus on first-person while the story would have played out with V in view.
