10 ♏ Rosebud (The Sims)

Let's start off this list with a nifty little cheat from the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims game. Money in The Sims was hard to come by if you weren't careful. Or maybe you do have cash but just wanted a little e𓂃xtra. Either way, the Rosebud cheat was a go-to.

The Rosebud cheat gave free money. All you had to do was press Ctrl, Shift, and c. Then you had to type in rosebud;: and press enter. The game would say that there was no such cheat buℱt if you kept pressing enter, you'd watch your money skyrocket.

By pressing Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, Up, Down, Left, Right during gamepl𒐪ay, you'd spawn a jet pack, free to fly around San Andreas and rain havoc down on its unsuspecting citizens.

8 Down + 🍎B (Pokémon)

There might not be any proof that this actually works, but it sure felt like it did and just about everyone who has played a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Pokémon game has tried it (and swear by it). Using this simple trick just required you hold Down on the D-pad and hold B at the same time after throwing a Pokéball to have a better chance of catching a Pokémon.

A🔯s we said, there really isn't any hard proof that it works but people who have made videos testing it say that even though it's not 100%, it does give you a better chance of catching Pokémon, even on ones with full health.

7 Moon Physics 𓆏(Ton🏅y Hawk's Pro Skater 2)

We have so many fond memories playing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 o🎃n the original Playstation, and it has a lot to do with the zany cheats available for the game. Out of all the available cheats, the one we'll never forget i꧂s the cheat to enable moon physics.

By pressing X, Square, Left, Up, Down, Up, Square, Triangle in the pause menu, you would be able to f🐠loat around like you were on the moon when you jumped, allowing you to have plenty of time to pull off loads of tricks and rack up your score.

6 𒈔 DK Mode (GoldenEye 007)

There are some cheats that we associated with a game so much that we can't imagine one without the other, like DK Mode in  for the N64. Other games had "big head" cheats in them, but none were quite as memorable as DK Moꦫde, which increased the size of all characters' heads and arms, making them look like Donkey Kong.

All the cheats in this game were unlockable through various criteria, but if you 😼didn't want to do that you could just enter an annoyingly long button sequence from ♎the cheat menu.

5 ♕ Zelda Skips The First Quest (Legend Of Zelda)

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Legend of Zelda games never really had any cheat codes, per se, but there were more than a few neat exploits along the way that did some interesting things. We have to give the most memorable one to this cool little trick you could do in the first Legend of Zelda game.

By entering ZELDA on the name screen, you🌄 were able to unlock the Second Quest without having to complete the main game first. The Second Quest was basically "hard mode" as i🍨t increased difficulty, changed the locations of dungeons, as well as changing locations of Heart Containers and some shops.

4 Blo🐎od🌟 Code (Mortal Kombat)

Since 1992, the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat franc🀅hise has given gamers bloody, over-the-top u🐽ltraviolence for the sake of entertainment, but it was first released in arcades, it was the subject of some controversy. As a result, it was shipped to home consoles without the blood and fatalities.

Fort🎃unately, the game came with an amazing little cheat the developers snuck in that brought all the blood, gore, and fatalities all back, making it still one of the best 𝕴cheats in gaming.

3 𒈔 God Mode (Doom) ෴

2 🐠 The "Justin Bailey" Code (Metroid)

We're not sure who Justin Bailey is but it seems he's responsible for one of the most well-known cheats in gaming. When Metroid first came out in the '80s, players who beat the game in under five hours were surprised to learn that Samus is a woman, but with this simple cheat, you'd have k꧒nown from the get-go.

By going to꧋ the password screen and entering "Justin Bailey" on the top line and entering spaces on the second line, players were able to go through the game as Samus wearing a bright pink leotard.

1 ඣ 💯 The Konami Code

The Konami Code is the most iconic cheat code in gaming, no question about it. Sometimes called the "Contra Code" because it was popularized in Contra,ও but it's really taken on a li⛎fe of its own and is now a fixture of popular culture.

By pressing Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start in Contra, you'd be rewarded with 30 extra lives, but this famous cheat has also found its way into many other games through the years.
