Three of Tsai's facts are related to the game and the surrounding culture. Tsai shares that the book Wukong is based on, Journey to the West, was once forbidden in the Ming Dynasty, that kittens do the game's Tiger boss's mocap, and that some people believe that Lingji Bodhisattva, the headless monk, had his head stolen by the British.

Alongside these facts, Tsai also mentions that at least five Chinese landmarks are offering free ent🙈ry to players who complete Black Myth: Wukong, or at least certain🤡 sections.

花果山 Mount Huaguo. Located @ city Lianyungang, Jiangsu province. From Aug. 22 to Dec. 31st, free passes to players beat the game. Mount Huaguo is where Sun WuKong was "born", and where the game's tutorial begins.
灵岩寺 Lingyan Temple. Located @ city Jinan, Shandong province. Presented in the 3rd chapter of the game. The government grants anyone who finished Chapter 3 lifetime free access to the temple.
大漈景区 Daji scenic spot. Located @ city Lishui, Yunnan province. Presented in the 4th chapter of the game. The government grants anyone who finishes Chapter 4 lifetime free access.
火焰山 The Flaming Mountains. Located @ Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It's not featured in the game but is related to the famous TV series Journey to the West's 1986 version. Anyone who beats the game gets a free pass (including 3-5 family members).
嵖岈山 Mount Chaya. Located @ City Zhumadian, Henan province. Again, it's not presented in the game. It's the primary filming location of the 1986 version of JTTW. From Aug. 23 to Dec. 31st, free passes for players beat the game.
