Chivalry 2 – the follow-up to 2012’s Chivalry: Medieval Warfare – is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, putting players back on the battlefield for gory dismemberment and utterly chaotic medieval combat. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:In my review, I stated that altho♛ugh “Chivalry 2 doesn’t necessarily feel like a totally new game, it brings a lot of little changes that make it feel like a fresh experiencꦦe.” In a nutshell, though, it takes what made the first game so special and elevates it to a totally new and awesome level.

Beyond the over 60 different weapons, pretty much anything not nailed down can be used to dismember or deal damage to your enemies. I found a deep-seated love for the ballista bolt during the cross-play beta for Chivalry 2 – my favorite stationary weapon. I’d say my second-favorite weapon is the surprisingly powerful mallet, specifically when it’s used as a throwable. I laughed for a good five minutes one time when I actually managed to decapitate an enemy player by headshotting them with a thrown mallet. However, the honor of my number one favorite weapon ♕in the game goes to the last thing you’d expect: a fish.

Take a l♋ook at the video below for a demonstration of what a (hila💝rious) fish kill looks like:

That’s right. A ꦕdead, slippery, and likely stinky fish that can be thrown at your enemies. While reviewing the game, I was partied up and playing online with my teenage nephew (who had never played a Chivalry game before). While waging war in a small village, he all of a sudden shouted, “Sam! I got a fish!” He had found a well in the middle of the village that offer൩ed up the option of taking a fish. We later found some drying racks leaning against the boarding fence that we could also snag fish from.

Rather than eating it and restoring health, we decided to move in th🐻e more obvious direction, which was using the fish as an offensive weapon. From the perspective of the enemy, it probably isn’t too impress❀ive – looking like any other quickly thrown object that hardly does any damage.

However, from my perspective, it’s hands-down hilarious watching a fish being hucked at an oncoming attacker, especially if it manages to hit them square in the face. The above video is obviously staged, merely because we wanted to see what happened. That doesn’t make the end result a👍ny less funny, though.

At some point, I hope to sn💛ag a better clip of an actual in-battle kill. Until then, you can bet that I’ll be doing my damnedest to find a fish on every single map of every heated medieval battle. So, if you’re playing Chivalry 2 and happen to see the same soꦦldier constantly running around with a fish in hand, there is a very good chance that it’s me.
