Of course, there are a few different items — called Magicite — to help you out during the race, either by sabotaging your riﷺvals, or helping you speed your way to victory.
Magicite can be obtained by claiming Magic Eggs that are scattered around each racetrack. So what exactly do the different types of Magicite do and what else do you need to know about them? We've got it all covered for you right here.
What Does Each Magic Egg Colour Mean?

You will obtain one random Magicite or a Crystal by collecting this egg. |

As you dash around the🉐 track, there will be Magic Eggs for you to collect that will give you either Magicite or Crystals, with the color of the egg affecting the possible outcome. Eggs replenish shortly after they are grabbed, so if a rival racer ahead of you gra♑bs a gold, there may still be time for it to reappear before you reach it.
You'll unlock different types of Magicite as you progress through Story Mode.
How Does Magicite Work?
Once you've collected a Magic Egg, the Magicite or Crystal you receive will be displayed in the top left of your screen. You can hold up to three Magicite or Crystals at a time, and you can use them by pressing L. Some Magicite attacks can be fired backward by pulling ꦕback on the left thumbstick while pressing L.
As well as being able to stack three Magicite, if you collect two or three of the same kind of Magicite, it will combine them and upgrade the effect given.
You should aim to grab a gold Magic Egg to get two of the same Magicite, then snag a silver Magic Egg next to ensure your final one is the same kind, giving you the most powerful version of that Magi♋cite possible.

If you collect three Magicite — of any kind — and continue to collect Magic eggs, your 😼Magicite can transform into Ultima. Upon use, Ultima rains down arrows of light on all other racers and causes them to wipe out. Note: Ultima can only be used once per race for each character. |
