What Is A Prize Pass?
The Prize Pass is Chocobo GP's version of a Season Pass. Purchasing the Prize Pass gives players exclusive rewards while playing the Chocobo GP mode. These rewards include additional Gil, team stickers, wallpapers, characters, ride models, cosmetic stickers, and more! If these goodies interest you, you can purchase a prize pass with Mythril in t🐽he shop.
However, when you go into the shop, you'll notice two different prize passes: a Premium and a Base version. The base prize pass costs 800 Mythril and offers the benefits listed above. However, the premium prize pass costs 2,400 Mythril, immediately raises your Chocobo GP level to 60, and offers triple the weekly presents. So, in short, if you don't feel like grinding to unlock an exclusive season character, like Cloud, you're better off getting the premium pass.
How To Raise Your Level
To get the most out of your Chocobo GP experience, whether you purchase a prize pass or not, you'll want to spend time raising your level in the Chocobo GP. So, how do you increase your level? Winning races in Chocobo GP rewards you GP points, raising your level.
Additionally, you can use Team Stickers to add GP point bonuses to your total after a race. Team Stickers are consumables that you can restock with Mythril purchases in the shop. You can also get rewarded team stickers upon raising 🅘your level.
How To Unlock Cloud And Squall
Now that you know the ins and outs of prize passes, you're probably wondering what you need to do to unlock exclusive characters like Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 and Squall from Final Fantasy 8. Considering future seasonal characters will follow a similar format, it ꦐwill be helpful to know how it all works.
Cloud is a reward that is exclusive to the prize pass. Therefore, you need to purchase a prize pass to access him. After purchasing a prize pass, you'll have to reach Level 60 in Chocobo GP to unlock him. You caꦚn grind towards Level 60 with a base prize pass, or you🍌 can unlock Cloud immediately with a premium prize pass.
To unlock Squall, you need to buy him from the shop with 3,000 Gil. Of course, you won't need the prize pass to get him, but purchasing the pass will make earning the Gil easier.
