In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Chrono Cross, the Blue Element is exactly what you'd expect from it: lots of watery and ice effects, and some healing powers to boot. Blue Element characters contrast nicely with the fiery Reds, and you'll end up picking up quite a few of them as you progress through the game - eight, in all.
The collec🅠tion of Blue characters is a lot less wacky than some of the other Elements in Chrono Cross, but there are some eccentricities to deal with here, such as a mermaid, a rockstar, 🐻and a good old-fashioned pirate.
Pierre
It is almost laughable how bad Pierre is. He's the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:obvious joke character who has possibly the worst stat spread in the entire game. The reason for this is that Pierre relies on three specific pieces of equipment to be useful - the Hero's set. With these, he's actually pretty damn good - he'll be hitting very high damage numbers and his techs become high-tier.
The thing is, the Hero's Set bonus has a drop-off point in usefulness and you'll feel it hard once you reach it. Pierre makes for a good character only for a short amount of time, and that's worse than being a bad character full stop, as he'll end up taking investment that could have been put into better characters.
Korcha
It feels obvious to say, but Korcha is the worst Blue Element character in Chrono Cross when you ignore Pierre, who's clearly a joke character. We're meant to take Korcha seriously, but his stats simply don't back it up.
Korcha gets very few high-level Element slots, and his physical attack is so painfully low that even dedicated mages will hit harder at times. Add to that his bratty demeanour and how annoying he becomes when you decide to recruit Glenn abandon Kid, and he's easily passed over.
Orlha
Orlha is a physical powerhouse who shouldn't be underestimated - she packs quite a punch. But then, don't overestimate her, either. In any realm that isn't beating up enemies, Orlha is pretty bad.
She has low magic and a bad Element Grid with very few slots, and her HP is pretty low for a physical character - lower than many mages, who are traditionally fragile. If you're using Orlha, it's for her sky-high attack stat, and that's something she can work with.
Nikki
Nikki is a pretty awesome character. He fights with guitar picks and rocks the battlefield with his music-themed techs. The problem is that he's a Blue Element character whose stats are geared towards casting spells and being a mage.
To put it bluntly, of the Blue mages, you can do so much better than Nikki. Marcy and Leena blow him out of the water (pun intended) and there's not much you can say to defend him when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:put up against Guile, the more attractive character to recruit for the Vip♑er Manor infiltration.
Irenes
Irenes suffers the same fate as Nikki - being a high-tier spellcaster in a category with two top-tier spellcasters - namely Marcy and Leena. She does have her bonuses, though. A stamina of 11 means she'll take more turns than other characters, and her level five tech, Mer Melody, is a nice panic heal that she'll always have equipped.
What Irenes is sorely lacking is stats - her Element Grid is fantastic, allowing her to equip four Elements for every level from five to eight, but when other characters simply make for better casters, it's hard to justify using her instead. That said, she is a mermaid and mermaids are damn cool.
Fargo
As an Element, Blue's power is derived mainly from the spells available to you. This is why the mages of the game are so high up on this ranking, but Fargo manages to be an exception. He's a physically-aligned character who has no business casting spells, so it's good that he excels at fighting. He has very decent strength and fantastic resilience that pairs well with high HP.
One of the things tha𝔉t puts Fargo abꦦove the rest is his level three tech, Pillage. Stealing items is a rare ability to have in Chrono Cross so this already makes Fargo a fantastic choice for anyone who likes item hunting or dislikes Kid.
Marcy
The Blue character of the Four Devas, it should come as no surprise that she's a powerhouse. She has good stats both physically and magically, and a pretty nice Element Grid to boot. You can't really go wrong with putting Marcy on your team unless you're looking for the best caster possible.
Her only flaw is that she is a smidgeon on the frail side when it comes to physical attacks. If you decide to stick with Marcy, it's a good idea to stack your team with healing Elements.
Leena
Leena is one of the best characters in Chrono Cross, and it's for a plethora of reasons. Firstly, she's available extremely early on. This means you can get a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ton of stat-boosting completed with her and she'll end up being one of your strongest characters quite easily.
Secondly, she has two incredibly useful techs. Her level five tech, Maiden Heart, will recharge any Elements she's used previously in battle. This makes her one of the most versatile mages in the game, able to use the rarest and most powerful spells multiple times. Her level seven tech, Maiden Faith, is basically auto-raise with some stat buffs attached - this sort of skill is amazing for a character who can be one of the most effective healers in the game.
Overall, her techs and her stats - including her great Element Grid - make💃 her a force to be reckoned with and one of the top choices for a permanent party member.
