Four years after release is the perfect time to announce a new season pass, right? Publisher 2K Games and developer Firaxis seem to think so because that's exactly what they've done. Coming as a surprise to everyone, the successful 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Civilization VI is about to get expanded even more with a ton of new DLC. Coming in 🃏the "Frontier Pass," players can expect to see an additional eight civilizations added to the already immense roster that this ꦿgame has.
Obviously that won't be the only thing added to the experience. Alongside all of those new civs will be different leaders to select, a ton of new Natural Wonders to discover, and even new game modes. The first pack for this season pass (expected to launc𒉰h on May 21), the "Maya and Gran Colombia Pack," will be bringing something called the Apocalypse game mode. It will test players to survive against a wave of world-destroying weather conditions that include things like meteor showers, asteroid strikes, and solar flares.
The second pack (currently slated for July) will be the "Ethiopia Pack." This will bring the expected new civilization and leader as well as new districts, infrastructures, and a Secret Societies mode. Anything🍒 past that hasn't been fully detailed, but a quick roadmap promises additional game modes and other nebulous content.
In a press release, Firaxis' leader game designer Anton Strenger said, "We're very excited to be adding even more content to Civilization VI, ensuring longtime players and franchise new🗹comers have something fresh to look forward to in the months to come. By delivering new content on a regularly scheduled basis, we’ll have more opportunities than ever with the New Frontier Pass to connect with our community as we actively develop and deliver content."
This new season pass will be retailing for roughly $40, basically taking the place of a third expansion. Each pack will be available for individual purchase should you wish to get only one. Packs with two leaders will go for $9 while ones with a single leader will be $5. If you opt for the entire season, you'll be given the bonus of Teddy Roosevelt and Catherine De Medici persona packs, allowing you to change the leaders 💮of their respective civilizations.
