Doing th🐠is level without saving is still quite a challen✃ge due to the vast amount of deadly monsters, but there is a pro tip to make it slightly easier. After taking the teleporter from the Berserk secret, you can grab a BFG through a wall on the left side. It may take a few bumps to grab it, but it will happen.

9 Doom 2 - Map24: The Chas♕m

Not only is The Chasm probably the hardest level in Doom 2, but for many of you, it's the weakest. The level is known for its tightrope walking, and if you fall off, sometimes you can't get back up. Doing a 100 percent run on this level without saving is brutal, especially in the final area with all the lost souls.

They can easily bump you off, making you redo the level again. There is a small tip that makes the final walk a bit easier. Once you get to the second to last bend in the catwalk, you can run to the other side. Despite this, it's so easy to die here, and it's a relief when you beat it.

8 No Rest For The Living - Map05: Vivisection ﷽

An official Classic Doom campaign, No Rest For The Living is pretty difficult, but not as hard as Plutonia or TNT. One notable aspect of it is that for basically the whole game, you don't get a backpack. This makes ammo much more of an issue, especially if you're going for 100 percent kills or playing via pistol starts. The hardest level, Vivisection, is no exception to this.

With 240 total monsters on Ultra-Violence and a rather cramped level design, this map is a massive challenge even when saving. Good luck if you're playing from a pistol start; you get no Plasma Gun here. You get a Rocket Launcher, but with the splash damage, it's not ideal.

7 Plu൲tonia Experiment - Map18: Neurosphere 🔯

Neurosphere, from The Plutonia Experiment, is a remake of sorts of The Inmost Dens from Doom 2. However, it's so much harder. If you're playing from the last map, you may think you can just tough it out and kill them right there.

This is not a wise choice. You'll take so much damage that you'll be desperate for health. Thankfully, there is a secret with a megasphere and BFG, which helps a lot. The latter half of the level isn't nearly as hard, but it's still really tough to clear that first section without dying.

6 🧸 Ultimate Do🔜om - E4M1: Hell Beneath

For many Doom levels, the challenge comes from many deadly enemies. Hell Beneath does have that but also offers very few resources. On Ultra-Violence, you only get a Green Armor, 12 Armor Bonuses, and nine Health Bonuses. On easier modes, you get four medikits, but none on UV. Considering you're going to be fighting five barons if going for all kills, this will be a Herculean task.

Doin꧟g this map 100 percent without saving is ridiculously hard, and most of you will need saves to get all the kills. Since ammo is so 𒁃scarce, you need to gang the barons around the fence wall and blast rockets through it to kill them. The splash damage will help a lot there, and you should be able to kill the remaining ones left standing.

5 💞 TNT Evilution - Map27: Mount Pain

The opposite of Neurosphere would be something similar to Mount Pain. What makes this map 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:so difficult is the very last section. You'll be in a square-shaped area with Mount Pain off in the distance. What's not good is that a seemingly neverending amount of lost souls will come from there and consistently halt you.

You'll be doing combat against the various enemies while being constantly pecked by these demons. The level also offers no soulspheres or megaspheres on Ultra-Violence, which is majorly lacking in a map packed with 290 deadly enemies.

4 Plutonia Experiment - Map09: Abattoire ꦰ

Similar to Mount Pain, Abattoire offers an incredibly difficult final combat arena. Most of the stage is standard Plutonia fair, but the last section is seriously something else. Upon opening the last door, you'll be greeted by tons of chain gunners. Once that door shuts, you can't go back, so you're locked in.

After dealing with them and getting halfway into the room, all four corners will open up, revealing a mancubus and revenant in each. The only somewhat safe space is in the alcoves on either side filled with imps, but even then, one revenant will be able to see you. If you fall here, you can't get back up and will die. This is a straight-up difficulty 90-degree angle.

3 𝔍 TNT Evilution - Map08: Met🧸al

The brutally hard finale of Metal from Final Doom TNT Evilution.

While Metal offers a deadly finale, the other sections are also quite difficult. There are plent💞y of hitscanners throughout the whole map, including some you can barely even see. You often have no place to hide for cover, as well. The last part of the level must not have been playtested or at least designed with Nightmare play in mind.

You have a massive open area with tons of hitscanners, and to progress, you must raise platforms that you can't even get on first. You literally need to raise them, wait, and then press another switch to lower them, and then you can get on. Metal was one of the last Doom maps to be finished on Nightmare, and it's easy to see why.

2 TNT Evilution 🦄- Map09: Stronghold

Stronghold is a fair enough challenge and a really fun map. That is if you're playing from the last level and on Ultra-Violence. If you're playing from a pistol start or on Nightmare, it's a totally different story. Stronghold has one of the highest enemy counts in any official Doom map, with 297, most of them being hitscanners.

It's a total blast when you already have all your gear, but pistol-starting will have you begging for resources. If you are playing on Nightmare, just give up. As you progress through the level, more of it opens up, which allows those respawning enemies to continue to snipe you. It's no surprise that Stronghold was the last map to be beaten on Nightmare.

The second secret level of The Plutonia Experiment might as well be a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Serious Sam map because it's a full-on horde stage. It only has 206 enemies, which might sound small compared to Stronghold, but considering how deadly most of them are, that won't matter. Level design is not very open here, so you really need to master how efficient you are at killing these baddies as fast as possible.

You also get nine megaspheres, which you'll need considering the deadly monsters. They might not help you with the cyberdemons, which can often one-shot you, and there are 13 of them. Despite how hard it is, it's a ton of fun due to the high enemy count. It gives you plenty of ammo too.
