Lego, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Transformers, and Barbie; so many classic to💧ys have graced the silver screen with a movie of their own. It only seems fair with how many people had fond memories of these toys throughout their childhoods.
One has to wonder though, which classic kids toys have been left behind? The ones that a💫llowed for hours of play, the ones we have fond memories of even today, ones that have stood the test of 𝕴time and are still relevant even now. Here are some classic kids toys that deserve their own feature movie.
10 🧸 Hungry Hunꩵgry Hippos
They're far beyond normal hungry, at this point they're hungry hungry. Why else would they be eating marbles? Hungry Hungry Hippos were classic toy for you and your friends to compete with.
With films like Zootopia and Madagascar pulling in large audiences, you could definitely see how much fun producers would ha🔴ve making a movie about this classic toy. Regardless of whether their plot takes them in or out of the wild in their search for food, kids and former kids would be int⛄erested to see one of their favorite toys come to the screen.
9 Pet Rock
It would be a comedy for sure. But, a Pet Rock movie is well deserved after such a simple concept sol🤡d so ♔much.
It really is the perfect toy and the perfect pet too. Why not make a mo🌺vie about it? Whether you had the classic version or the improved one with tꩲhe googly eyes reminiscent of Everything Everywhere All At Once, you probably have fond memories of your Pet Rock had you owned one in your youth.
8 Mr. Pot♒ato Head
True, Mr. Potato Head was a pretty influential side character ⛎in the Toy Story movies, but seeing him in his own movie would be an interesting premise.
Whatever sort of wacky exploits he would get into, he would have a face for every occasion. Whether it be a Toy Story spinoff or his very own stand-alone film꧋, it would be interesting to see the plot the producers would choose for this classic toy character.
7 Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots
Rock 'Em Sock 'Em robots were a great toy for kids with siblings or those who wanted to be the top boxer in their neighborhood.
It was so exciting watching the robots' heads fly up after a solid hit, so you can imagine how satisfying it would be to see it on the big screen. Think 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Rocky franchise but ꦐmore geared towards kids. A pair of rival robot boxer rivals, forced to face off against each other for the glory and prizes that come with being a robot boxing champ. It would definite💮ly be a movie where sparks fly.
6 Fishe🦩r Price Chatter Telephone 🤡
Many of♌ you will remember 💜this toy from your childhood, or from the hit horror movie Skinamarink.
Well, now is the perfect time for this classic toy to make a comeback and earn its name back as a child's toy and not a thing of nightmares. Does this classic toy solve mysteries like some sort of children's detective? Has it been removed from a house that needs a talking phone? There are plenty of plot options available for a toy as recognizable as this one.
5 𒅌 Cabbage P🍸atch Kids
Kids from all walks of life will remember their first Cabbage Patch Kid doll. They're a weird concept, but one that made them stand out from other dolls of the same era.
They're still around and wide selling today, just as they were all those years ago. This means there could be a valuable market for a movie about the lives of a Cabbage Patch Kid. You could even follow them from field to their adoptive homes. Sounds like a pretty heartwarming movie that would bring these dolls back into the forefront of peoples' minds now that Barbie is doing so well again.
4 Sock Monk⛎ey
While the Sock Monkey was a cute toy for most, some, however, found it to be a little too creepy for their homes. Regardless, everyone knows the sock🗹 monkey by sight.
They're a pretty simple toy, full of color, and soft enough for even the smallest kid to have beside them. It would be interesting to see where the movie would go and what sort of conflict would be bothering the cute and cuddly creature. Regardless, it is somewhat surprising that more wasn't done with this classic toy seeing as how many households had one.
3 Furby
Sure, there was Furby Island in the ear🧜ly 2000s, but now seems like a perfect time for Furbies to go all out and make their own feature꧟ length film.
These little creatures are an odd toy for sure. This was especially so when they first came out — so much so that some thought they were possessed, or even satanic. Not saying that their movie needs to dive into that part, but they are definitely weird enough without that to have their own movie. It would be interesting to see more of the Furby lore come out and l𝔍earn what these creatures are.
2 🤡 Se𝓰a Monkeys
Another odd toy, but one that has survived the test of time to still be re💟levant today. Sea Monkeys were the first step for many to owning a pet of their own.
They aren't monkeys, as so many kids were sad to find out in the '60s and '70s, but actually an incredibly small species of shrimp. Regardless if they are imagined as such or as the classic Sea Monkey drawings of decades prior, it would be fun to watch a movie about these aquatic creatures, maybe even seeing them going from the sea to the home.
1 Green Army Men 🎀
GI Joes got a full series of movies, but no on꧒e can forget the other toy soldiers that deserve their own blockbuster movie series. This being the classic green army men of course. They were simple toys, but so many people have fond memories of playing out battles on their bedroom floor.
Surely they were the first toy for many a wargamer out there now. It only seems fair that they get their time in the limelight too. Each year more and more war movies come out, and to audiences that just can't seem to get enough of them. It may be refreshing to see a take on soldiers and comradery without the grim side that we so often get.
