It's strange to think of it this way now, but not all online games had flight paths. Immersion into the world required a lot of walking. Back in the day when 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft was new, the♑ addition of the flight paths was a novelty.

Even then, there were critics that said flight paths would ruin the game, an echo of the ruckus when players got their own flying mounts in later expansions.  The original flight paths were deliberately designed to be fun to look at in addition to getting your 'toon to a certain destination. Here are some of the most scenic flight paths in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Classic World of Warcraft.

10 ꦡ Orgrimmar to Winterspring

It's the contrast between climates that makes this interesting as you travel from desert to snowy peaks, with the lush green and purple forest of Ashenvale and the ruins of Azshara to𝓰 watch in betw𝔉een.

There's also the sense of accomplishment that you can feel as you coast over some of the highest level areas in the game, as the zones north of Orgrimmar are notorious for their tough PVE and PVP combat along with some of the most brutal reputation grinds in the game. You get used to seeing this flightpath as you 🍒grind rep for the Timbermaw Tribe.

9 🦂 Darnassus to Auberdine

Short and sweet, this is often the first flight path that Niᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚght Elf characters get after they've taken the boat from Teldrassil to Darkshore.

If you travel via the boat, however, you don't get to see the ocean waves sweeping beneath you as you fly o🥂ver a stretch of the open ocean. Take this route at specific times of the day to see the sunrise or sunset, and the former is pretty impressive over the eastern ocean if you're more of a Morning Elf.

8 🐈Tarren Mill toജ Raventusk Village

The Hinterlands is a zone that gets overlooked, as it's mostly unfinished with a huge chunk of the no👍rthern half barely used at all and Alliance players rarely venture beyond Aerie Peak, which has a lovely view all it's own.

If you're a Horde player, however, you have access💙 to a flight plan that includes some lovely forest and mountain and views that include the Alterac Moun♍tains as well as the Alterac Mountains and the Hinterlands.

7 🎶 ꧂ Booty Bay to Stormwind

Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale, shot of the dock from the FP

Is this one of those long flights where you go afk to get a sandwich? Well, yes, but next time try to sta🔥y in your seat and the view can keep you occupied for a few minutes. Flying from the tropical paradise of Booty Bay in Stranglethorn to Stormwind in temperate Elwynn Forest feels like coming home from a vacation.

Itꦰ's not all flowers and sunshine, however, as this route also gives you a great view of the shady si💧de of the Eastern Kingdoms, Duskwood. This is as close as you can get to the massive Raven Hill Graveyard without standing next to a hungry ghoul.

6 ﷺ Thorium Point ꦿto Grom'gol

After a tough morning of questing and PVP in the depths of Blackrock Mountain🌜, how do you relax? How about a nice afternoon on the beach? If you're Horde, you can take a flight from neut💎ral Thorium Point to the seaside town of Grom'gol.

You'll get a closer look at Alliance territory, the only way to see it outside of a raid or taking the much more dangerous route through the Dwarf tunnels. Even though it's little more than a zep tower and a flight master, it's got some high-level trainers, some interesting local q🌄uests, and some great places for fishing and herb farming.

5 Da꧋rkshire to Menethil Harbour 🦂

A darker flight plan for Alliance players that prefer shadow and swamp to sun and shoreline, this is also the first look lower level🌳 players get at the infamous higher level zones in the center of the Eastern Kingdoms.

You'll want to watch the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge from a distance for a few more💫 decades anyway. You can get the flight plan for Menethil Harbor fairly early in the game and Darkshire is walking distance from S🔯tormwind, so even lower level players can enjoy this one.

4 Ironforge to Aerie😼 Peak ♔

The first half of this is the coastline of the Eastern Kingdoms, and it's an area that players only see via the flight path. The route leads through the Hillsbrad Foothills, so not only do you get a pea🦂ceful look at an area that often in the midst of conflict, you can watch from a safe distance if there is a skirmish going on.

Aerie Peak is one of the more scenic locations in the game with a brilliant desi♊gn that creps up a steep mountainside that families of griffins use as their 𝐆natural homes.

3 💙 Marshall's Refuꦕge to Ratchet

via Facebook

A study in deserts and jungles, this is a neutral flight path that any character can♒ see regardless of faction. You start in the lush, steamy climate of Un'goro Crater and fly through the white dunes that make up most of Tanaris.

The route turns north into the desolate area of Thousand Needles, which is nice to see from a flight path but unpleasant to actually travel through. This part of the southern Barrens is much nicer from the air, especially if you're Alliance and you don't have 🅠any flight paths in this zone𓆉 other than Ratchet.

2 Moonglade to Nijel's Poin🎀t or Shadowprey Village

Monnglade is one of those quieter zones that doesn't get enough love. Most of the players ꦏthat visit are Druids or Night Elves, with visitors from other races and classes being fairly rare especially at lower levels. This route starts in the neutral flight master just outside Timbermaw Hold and goes to the eastern coast of Desolace.

Nijel's Point, the Alliance flight path, is in the northern part of the zone. Horde players fly to Shadowprey Village in the southern part. There are some impressive mountain🅰s on this route, which goes through Felwood and the Stonetalon Mountains, and the white and grey tones of Desolace actually look artistic from the air.

1 ܫ Darkshire to Light's Hope Chapel

This is the longest route on our list and is really about taking a tour of the Eastern Kingdoms,✃ not only when it comes to the scenery but there's also on this flight path that concerns the undead.

Players who have access to this route will already know most of this lore since they must have played up to a high l🌳evel to be able to reach the final destination of Light's Hope Chapel. This lonely little holdout is literally the end of the line, not for this route but also for humanity should the 𓃲resolve of the Alliance fail.
