After the most dominant split in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends Championship Series history, Cloud9 have swept FlyQuest in the finals, earning them their first LCS title in si▨x years. C9 support Philippe "Vulcan" Laflamme earned the honors of playerꦰ of the series.

Cloud9 entered the 2020 Spring Split having just traded away star jungler and MVP Dennis "Sven🍌skeren" Johnsen after a disappointing loss to Team Liquid in the 2019 LCS Summer finals. Not even two weeks after losing their MVP, it was announced that superstar bot laner and franchise cornerstone Zachary "Sneaky" Scuderi would be stepping away from the team as well. Cloud9 responded by acquiring Vulcan from Team Dignitas, for the record setting price of $1.5 million, and signing attack damage carry Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen as a free agent. Six months later, Cloud9 became the champions of North America.

Vulcan and the rest of the Cloud9 squad won the finals in the same way they won their games during the regular season: dominantly. Game one was surprisingly close, with FlyQuest mid laner Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage giving it his all, but it wasn't enough to slay the giant. Than🥀ks to the damage output and zoning ingenuity coming from Zven's Miss Fortune and Yasin "🙈Nisqy" Dinçer's Veigar, Cloud9 was able to close out the game in thirty-nine minutes, and the series was over soon after.

Cloud9's star support Vulcan had a series to remember with impressive games on both Nautilus and Thresh. The 20 year old (21 years tomorrow) Canada native's stellar play earned him the honors of being named player of the series. Vulcan had a KDA (kill/death/assist) of 2/5/42, which included a r🀅emarkableಌ KDA of 0/1/21 in game two.

This Cloud9 victory marks the organization's third LCS championship since they entered the league back during the summer ꩲof 2013. That Cloud9 squad, who was also one of the most dominant teams of all tim♐e, managed to win two championships in their first two splits. This title is the first for Cloud9 since. The last remaining member of that Cloud9 dynasty, Sneaky, left the team in November of last year.

Winning the Spring title means that Cloud9 earns the opportu🅰nity to compete the Mid-Season Invitational, which is 𒅌currently scheduled to take place in July.
